The way GDI works on this server mean you can do one landgrab and it will be fine, but two is a declaration of war. I don't have a kill:2 policy. It is never worth hitting me twice tho, and everyone who spies me knows that. That is ofc true for Ebert too.
My only beef with the kill:2 policy is that it's not a deterrent; outgrow and farm is a better deterrent as that gives me exactly what I want while I screw the offender.

You gotta understand what a retaliation is. When you give away the initiative like that to me or to Ebert you sign up for whatever we have in store for you.

Difference is that it takes 10% the effort or less to destroy someones game ingame as it takes to play well so its autoloss for a player like me who intends to win or get NW record or land record every set I play seriously. I don't play to give griefers a good time, I play to have fun and having fun when I have time to means crunching numbers and netting, not warring with someone I could beat in this game 99-100 times out of 100 in war or in netting.

On the forum if you can't back up your words with your name it means they are worth nothing at all, because you have no reason at all to hide who you are except if you have something to say that you can't stand for.

Suiciders quit all the time... I have made several of them change name, quit and/or play differently. A few months from now this server will be calm and nice again.

You are getting owned in tournament right now because of your ingame antics. In primary you are just being generally crappy as well as trying to ruin better players sets, in express you are not doing well apparently either. Maybe it's time to start thinking about correcting your own playstyle? I'm not saying your team-mates are not at all to blame here but you are surely capable of being bad-mannered enough to fail on every solo-server without their help.

If you don't have a clue how grabbing works you are better off exploring. The winner of tournament is quite often an all-xp that maybe retalled or made like 2-4 well-placed grabs late-game. So many players start grabbing before realizing how to make a strong economy or play with a sustainable turn efficient approach. They end up going down as fast as they rose.

play an indy one set with a standard startup, get to 1.5k acres and then sit there and build CS til you are 55 bpt or so then explore and build to 1900 acres, do 3-4 mass-explores and learn that part of the game. buy tech! bonus are turns early and mid game and late game you make indy booms, once you manage to reach 25m NW doing this you can start thinking about grabbing, though I'd recommend you to get past 30m NW in tournament at least once with all-explore before grabbing.

It's still quite easy to farm bots even in alliance. FFA is a picknick, it's just that its 16 bloody countries. It would be better to drop FFA country allowance to maybe 8 or 6 if grabbing is too tedious for even the most active players. #makeFFAlessfreeagain

I think it will be balanced next set. The recent changes were tiny.

If you know when boxcar, ghq, earthgraphs, eestats etc update its very easy to make that formula kinda useless as long as you got enough countries dying every day on the server. I'm not saying this is common practice but the game is set up so that restarts can hide, and I see no reason for that tbh. I also see no reason for why it should be necessary to spend my leisure time like that. The game gives too many advantages to bad players.

Papertiger is really thin and focused on topfeeding and landtrading so he is not really teching many turns even though he should. Therefore he will be a bad allie is my guess.

When 1 player dies that is true but when 10 die each day and you can manipulate several factors to hide better it starts becomming difficult and sometimes impossible to track all. Even when its not impossible it's tedious AF.

It should be easy enough to create a mechanic that if you want your restart bonus you have to keep the name.

What archaic means is that the ability to ruin someones hard work with 1/10th the effort is what creates a toxic server atmosphere... it is a Developers issue first and foremost, but ofc mods could start deleting countries/tags or even banning them for griefing tho its a very time consuming effort and some situations are not that black and white like #4 this set for instance.

most players who don't wall now wont wall with this change either. You just made it easier for the wallers to wall and harder for those that dont wall to ever be relevant in war except as cannon fodder.

Those who live in Europe or Asia who sleep at night and have jobs that require them to not play online games will still not be able to wall when Americans hit them. I think the game would be better if walling was completely removed to be honest, like if a civilian has been killed in your country in the last 30 seconds you are prevented from logging in. that would make sure that people who are at least able to get online at the same time to do a warchat every now and again will not be forced away from this game because they cant dedicate their lives to it.

1 civilian = 1 point
1 acre destroyed or stolen= 15 points
1 hit of any kind(on bots)= 500 points(to partially negate the huge points from landgrabs)
1 missile of any kind= an extra 500 points on top of the 500 for the hit.
100 NW at the end = 1 point

This will create a very unique market for the others that play that set.

I also messed up my destock.. resold a bunch of units at 195 and had to rebuy jets at 250 and recall and stuff... then I also missed running my last turns. I think I would have gotten about 21m.

Two players passing 20m? Either way this is far from settled.

my biggest beef with it is that walling is too strong.. especially today when most warchats are marginal on turns. the only chance monsters, evo, omega or a normal sized rage has to kill a suicider alone is that he does not wall. same is true for any one tag on team.

You need a hard counter for walling like:

if a country has active bioterrors equal to or greater than civilians/100; all pop dies instantly next time a turn is taken.

AND

the first turn used after being attacked with special attacks has a maximal pop growth of 0 no matter what.

I don't know if theo or dict is better.. I know which takes more time to be useful... :)
