It's not out of thin air. SoF FSd a CLEARLY netting clan (notice the governments) and I'm sure this coalition (LaF near SoF? really?) would break eventually. Their opportunity arrived when MD was coming into the scheme, allowing SoF to attack NA as a prevention for NA being unable to attack later, coming into the aid of our allies. Our allies were outnumbered 2:1 at that time, we were going to net, seeing that no matter what we did, didn't help them out. It was not because we didn't care about our allies, it was because it was nothing we could do AND jumping on SOL/RD 2:1 does no one honor. Generally, in this game, the war tendencies were to even out the odds, clans who FSd were generally the same size as the clan they attacked or even smaller, or the target clan, if smaller, was given the opportunity to FS first.

As I already stated in a previous post last set, what honor could possibly bring to kill off a clan outnumbering it 2:1. It would be like NA would kill of RIVAL. Or attacking a netting clan that clearly netted as a warring alliance?

So...when deciding to FS LaF, we took into consideration that this was precisely what SoF didnt want us to do, to get us out from helping our allies...so we did it. I am aware of the fact that they still outnumber us, but I assure you we will fight to the best of our powers and as we did before, we will get through this.

Now:

1. To LaF: I tend to be very strict when coming to pacts and knowingly isolating alliances with the purpose of making them unable to step up, or making them loose membership. Don't make a habit out of that. We already proved that we treat this following moral standards that in this game seem to fade.
2. To SoF: finally your nature surfaced. You are an alliance that doesn't care about who/what wrecks as long as you guys are recognized as the big bad wolf on the server. I will enjoy the time when your one time "allies" will kill you off, because what I did find out in this game is that altho' the rules change and some clans through politics tend to manipulate the outcome of a fight, it also tends to even out the odds and eventually (as I already stated in other cases, you remember which, if you ever followed my posts) you will fade away like all aggressive clans did. But till then...enjoy the soap operas that you partly created (I would have never invested so much time into manipulating so many into a thing like that)

What I can say is that a country in NA would be grabbed and lost stock over that, PDM will either pay for the entire damages, or kill that country. Like PDM's policy is 150% L:L, or L:L, or whatever and I'm down to that, they will have to respect our wish too. If you make requests, you also have to respect some requests on your behalf too right? That's fair.

he joined as Blueberry ;) the numbers we have are not due to spamming recruitment messages. in fact I think we have only around 6 newly acquired guys with no experience. The rest of the player base is from old earth, people that due to ES going down we lost track of and now we dug in e-mails and recalled them for a reunion set. You dunno what you're talking about.

Hey Fatty! Thanks to you, 3-4 countries in NA have now the "opportunity" to reach 20 mil NW instead of 70mil. LaF is considered friends of NA and you created a debt for NA. Yeah, LaF looses too, but due to the nature of our pact, they'll receive more than you made them lose, so NA suffers here the most. We gave you a shot at redemption and you do...what?

To assure LaF, because I've heard some rumors about NA intending not to pay the debt. If you're a LaF leader, you know we now are working over the details (the FAs in charge). If you're a LaF member, please stop thinking what you think, "hearing" stuff from people that are not involved in the matter and stay put to receive word from your FA about the land and/or the aid involved. I heard from at least 3 directions "rumors".

Dude, haven't you seen here that the most vocal on AT are represent the minority of opinions in their clan? Each clan has its priorities set and I believe this game is transforming itself. NA never prided itself as being a warclan, but had its moments as well as other clans. If you ask me, over a certain number of active people, you can turn the balance of a war. i.e. if you have a warclan over 40 countries fully prepped midset with all users uberactive u can take on a 70 countries netting clan anytime if you're a good target finder and fairly decent at running a warchat. That doesn't prove you're a good warclan, this proves you're good at keeping secrets. :)

Also...feeling threatened by PDM? You are / must be joking right? PDM enforced this on us. Well...I can guarantee we WILL think of something to enforce on you about stocks. The way I see it, you are the only alliance on this server that tries to enforce something that is of so less common sense as instead of 1:1 to do L:L . How would you feel if some NA country would jump in NW with 12 mil jets, grab your fattest country and sell jets on private? Farm it to get your land back? You know more than 3 attacks from non pacted alliances means the attacker is killed right?

The way I see it, if you're governed by bad intentions, you get bad intentions and you can't do anything about it. Don't mistake our willingness to be peaceful in a netting set with stupidity or worse, naivety. Please show us the common sense we show you.

I'm no FA, but would be very good if your stock would be stolen by someone, for this to be included in the reps mentioning and treated accordingly. I mean, if we can accept that PDM would enforce a L:L policy on us, why wouldn't we enforce stock stealing and damages on them? Seems about fair enough. You steal 10 mil food in stock? No problem! Calc the deserved amount of land for stock and set backs. That should cover it :) It's just a suggestion, never made it to NA Senate, but should it?

No...it's not wrong and tell you why:
1. The people that were killed on 9/11 were part of a war of not their choosing.
2. The 3000 people that died that day were of all nationalities (I think around 11 were Romanian) and they never thought someone would hijack a plane filled with more innocents to fly them to their deaths.
3. That pseudo (fake in Latin) man made his choice when he killed innocents indiscriminately (Christians, Arabs, etc you name it) That leads me (underlined: MY opinion) to the conclusion that the religion is just a motif to cover a thirst for blood and victims. Why else would someone attack innocents of its own religion in the name of the religion he supports? The answer: to have a reason in his own mind or other people, that he's not a mass murderer, when in fact he is.
These are the reasons that...I wouldn't say have a national holiday. That would actually give him a merit for something atrocious and the world would remember. I would say...be HAPPY TODAY and FORGET him (lower case) TOMORROW.

This morning, after I watched last night Barack Obama's speech at White House Correspondents Dinner and laughed for 18 min, I browsed the news while having my mug of coffee and my cig (yeah i am a smoker) - breakfast of the champions :P I stumbled upon this news...Osama Bin Laden killed the old fashioned way, no bomb, no UAVs, no snipers ... just plain old-fashioned "Whack the Mole!" As stupid as it may seem...I was so glad I called my better half to tell her about it :P I think it's a relief for many and especially for the Americans. Good riddance!

idk about "deserving" but, if you want a no tag fair game, join primary. Until then, if you joined Alliance, you are bound to be farmed. A more fair rule would be that if you are untagged still, you should have a longer protection in which you receive messages to advise you to tag up to an alliance(say 150 turns - some might profit from that rule in wars) and if after that, you still are not able to join a tag...then...it's as fair as it can get. It's a raw idea, but it might work, if some put their heads into it.

untags will always be farmed regardless. that's the way it always have been in Alliance. that's why is called Alliance :)

You join the game untagged then join someone. Would be nice to have included in the Advisor's menu something like: "You are not tagged to any alliance on this server. You must join one. Here's the list with the app pages, dolt." and then they'd know :P

Every dude here that joined former EC or current Alliance that joined untagged (including myself), knows untaggs are farmed. It's not hate, or willingness to flex muscles. It's land and no pacting there. :)

well...my question to this is: what's the point of having more of everything, when the guy next to you has the same thing? I mean c'mon think: you have 40k acres, I have 38k. What would make you stand up more? Besides the fact that you ask the developer to practically change all the math and put the game to a halt for 3-4 days to implement it, not to talk about MORE tests, MORE bugs appearing and disappearing and MORE time lost instead of developing the real issues of this game. I think the coding and the things that have already been implemented so far since after the game switched servers it's more than you guys could ask from them (i don't like the attack page anymore tho' :P)

The idea of having a story behind the game seems pretty good advertising wise (6 years in adv here, from editing promos to 3D graphics ). If it were after me, I would invest every resource and dude that has some skill and is willing to participate, into a more aggressive advertising . This is the future of EE, not having ton of coding invested into an IA that would ALWAYS have bugs, or displacing all the math in the coding for you to explore 60 acres per turn instead of 40.

I'm not asking more of you guys but to think. What's the purpose of having more land? Really! Because any guy here would have just as much. :P Just saying...

Second edit (don't start hating me now): Even if iMag lost 11 instead of 13 (altho' I am pretty sure of my answer), together, NA and iMag lost this war around 17 members, meaning the numbers of a mid sized clan now. Doesn't it bother you that members leave this game/clans?

What I noticed as IA is that when a vet leaves, he's not only leaving the clan, he's quitting the game altogether. I already have information that we lost 2 clans members to other alliances and 1 quitting. iMag maybe have more. What more proof you need that this decision you took of "making" NA leave this server is dumb?

In response to your trolling, i will troll myself: obviously I had no idea, but so far any idea Soviet had like running iMag into the ground by not accepting a pact SOL proposed (yeah, that included pacting also NA) seems one man decision to me. I saw this around, but I decided at that time not to troll, but I troll now: iMag had 42 (forty two) countries at the time of the FS and 41 the day after (not sure what happened to 1, nor do I care) and now has 29 (twenty nine). NA started with 32 and and now has 27 (altho' lately you killed some restarts and we didnt kill anything, so our dead countries will likely restart, while iMag is likely to remain constant in numbers). This brings me to my next point:

Total countries lost:
NA: 5 (not constant)
iMag: 13 (constant)

If this decision would be taken by multiple heads instead of one, they'd see everyone looses. So...to finish my idea, yeah, Soviet runs iMag by himself.

Some explaining is in order:

1. Altho' we (NA and SOL) knew iMag might FS us, NA asked SOL not to intervene and Maki and SOL leadership always respected our (NA) decision to fight.

2. We didn't think iMag would FS a netting clan with roughly 30 countries putting iMag with 42 countries and an FS, versus 32 netters. If u ask me that's dumb and if you pull something like that, you can expect a kick up your azz

3. Our HPK was roughly the same as iMag in this war (238HPK NA vs. 222HPK iMag) at the time of SOLs FS, but the hits were half, in the following conditions:
a. iMag walling, NA not walling (cept for llaar for 10 hits and Reku for roughly 60)
b. NA undermanned (hitting with 22 countries out of 52 with restarts) - that can be explained by the fact that NA is not a war clan.
c. NA hitting with 5 countries roughly/warchat, the rest of the countries hitting offline.

I am very pleased on what NAers did so far, many restarted 2-3 times and continued to be killed by iMag (yeah...iMag to have a good HPK occasionally killed restarts) and at that point, NA's Senate decided to accept SOL's help.

They already said they are willing to help NA get back on its feet and they did it by:
1. Letting NA have its war and gain its own experience from that.
2. Answering our call for help in the exact time when we needed.
3. FSing iMag in the SAME conditions iMag FSd NA (with more countries)

I've heard many times about the "iMag way" What's that? FSing smaller alliances when you cant win wars against war alliances? Building tyr indies? Killing restarts? Running war countries with 0 SDI? Farming countries senseless and when you get farmed back cry "wolf!" and fluff all the clan up? "The iMag way" sounds like the second dumbest thing I've heard lately, besides war clans FSing netting alliances with a quarter less countries than a war clan.

Tell you what: remember 3-4 years ago when you came back to the Alliance server and the netting clans you now hate so much helped you back on your feet by accepting DNHs and DPs? If you ever find yourselves in the same situation, think about "your way" and how much fun you have now and if "your way" is good when begging for a pact.

Dude...the assessment of multiple countries that enter a war poorly prepped (which makes me believe it's a leadership decision, not a membership one and believe it or not we are actually making a thread in which we ask our members if they war/net every set) is not a sign of disrespect or dishonor. I talked to many of your members through in game messages and they're pretty decent persons. Not saying what they are actually write about this, because I'm not here to undermine your ability to lead.
