I'm one of the ones Drunk grabbed where I had to buy 6 million jets and he claimed we both came out ahead.

No all-x country that has to dump stock for 500 acres comes out ahead. It was just an asshole move. One this server is known for, l and I have come to expect unfortunately. But to claim it is mutually beneficial is retarded.

because i had to spend over a billion cash after dumping 30mill of my stock on jets and oil and it is going to take me days of much hugher expenses to sell it back down. not to mention the cost of rebuilding.

an all-x country doesnt want to be doing all that fluff. jets have no use for me. extra effort in country is never something im looking for when lazy netting.

In fact, since there's about 1200 turns left in the set-,, those 1100 acres will net you 1/2 billion cash with food @35.
If you can't sell jets on a dry market in 1200 turns then you might want to try a different game.

Note: Who cares how much you spent, the fact is you didn't 'lose' anything. You can sell the jets right back (esp as a demo) and probably profit off it anyways.

once again you leave out the loss on the jets, the loss in expenses (they are up more than 700K a turn) and the loss in rebuilding. all that is around half a billion dollars. so other than my PM regen, i gained nothing. i would rather stick to my all-x. you dont seem to understand how little effort i put into my countries. i like to keep it that way.

You shouldn't lose a great deal to expenses so long as you minimize spending your turns. You should be able to sell all those jets in like 8 turns, which isn't even 10mil cash.

If your preference is to net with explore only, ok, that's one thing. But, to say it's more profitable to have kept status quo with explore only is completely wrong.

The cost of jets lost + expenses + cost of rebuilding is nowhere close the profit that you'll make from those 1.1k acres.

Your cost for expenses is 10mil tops.
Your cost to rebuilding is $51,354 per building. (If he's a farmer, it would be less because you capture a portion of his bldgs.)
Your cost to lost jets is 96 mil
Your cost for oil is 42 mil

How are you getting 1/2 billion?

i already have 100 turns onhand, and those are my $160 jets that have been sitting there for like 6 hours. even at that price im taking a loss.

If you can't make 8 sales in 40hrs on perhaps one of the driest markets of all the servers... then you probably should try another server.

I personally would have sold the units at $149. With the profit you'd make from those acres, $66 mil loss is barely a dent.

you keep saying driest market, but the demand is the lowest too. 200K jets have sold in 24 hours dumbass. the 2mill in 48 hours was me buying up for the retal.

Well i was the country that tried to solo kill 32 from V after he grabbed me. Even with him coming online if i had 1 more chem i wouldve gotten the kill.

Drunck my message to you that mentioned 1:kill was meant only as an example about how some tags react(as far as i know top10 has no official policy). The kill run was an overreaction but i wasnt pleased that immediately after ford took a retal for a bad hit imo(ie the retal was assured) that V would hit me or any other top 10 member again.

In hindsight my course of action wasnt the best but 32 dumping nukes into ford for no reason is equally as bad.

Celphi you are correct with minimizing turns at higher expenses but as ford stated this can only mitigate the issue money is still lost. Unless you had 0 turns when you get hit, can retal immediately and the market is active enough to resell quickly you will be stuck using turns at higher expenses.

the admins have pretty much ruled out consequences for suiciders and fluff tags so that has become the nature of the server. joining them is too much work.

Even if it took him 100 turns to sell those jets, (aka 70mil in expenses) it still doesn't add up to 1/2 billion.

You make a profit in virtually every scenario. And it's not 'best case scenario', because if food sells higher than $35, say like $45, then that 600mil figure becomes 800mil profit.

5k+ tpt is a little more than an outhouse. All extra land went to spies and iI tore those down earlier in the set. I may not be a "1337" netter but i do know my way around a country. I play the way Iive btw, in the moment, may not ever be the best but I'm the happiest :)
