And whats sad is you know im right, your (including other pdm leaders) just pig headed, thats what got you slapped by sof and lost your membership, that what got you slapped by laf while i was leader, and from the seems of it, thats what will get you slapped by an as yet unkown alliance in the near future.

You realise sinn fein were and continue to be the good guys.
Likening RD to the IRA is essentially a promotion of their overall goals, while denouncing their methods of getting there.

Fact is every alliance had RD in it somewhere, laf's main connection just happened to be ex laf members, and so the assumption was that they would be pro laf, when really there wasnt much action to back that up. As a netgaining alliance, particularly in the old days, any reason people are scared to hit you is a good thing..

The people complaining arnt the people being topfeed, its the people trying to topfeed and finding that they end up losing acers.

judging fs's on unprep'd alliances is hard, although for me sof's fs on na a few sets ago was probably the best on the server for awhile, in that it gave a serious chance for sof to beat an alliance twice its size, but since then fs's have been pretty average

topfeeds are simple, any situation where country A grabs country B and has less acers after the grab, than country B had before it was grabbed.

i.e.
10k acer country grabs 11k country for 1k acers = no topfeed
9k country grabs 11k country for 1k acers = topfeed

But ofcourse everyone knows that ix avoided every war that wasnt heavily stacked in their favour. Dont get me wrong, that took incredible political maneuvering and skill. But SOL havnt become more cowardly without ix around, simply because its not possible, ix didnt like fair wars... Over the history of this game (including e2025) sol entered into many more wars that were ballenced or favoured their opponent than ix did.

what do you mean without ix? when did ix ever fight someone good on even-ish terms?

This whole idea of making changes purely to shake things up is fair enough, but really hasnt got much to do with the cash limit, reguardless of the cash limit, people need to stockpile unless it was completely removed, which i think almost everyone can agree wouldnt be good for the game.

The major effect to consider imo would be upon war's, and i dont think the server could sustain fs's being more powerful than they already are, given the turns per day, and size of alliances right now.

If your looking at changing the cash limit, purely for shake up purposes, reduce the limit to 1b meh.

I think slagpit playing this game, and posting on boards does far more damage to the game than policies like "land:land", or ivan posting.

Your sig says your from LCN, a netgaining alliance, and you cant see how it would unbalence strategies, enough said.

Imo i dont think it should be removed, but it should be perhaps increased, i.e. to 3b. When the game was first played, every server played alot less turns than EC plays now, more turns comes more land, more income per turn, more nw, and cash limit should reflect that.

Having said that, it would add even more power to FS's than is already the case, and imo a change like that could really only be enacted if the player base increased.
