Your population effects production. You were prob hit with attacks and/or ops that killed most of them and it takes a while to regain them. Keep running turns while avoiding getting hit again and you'll get your production back.

There's 6 big fascists with about 125k total acres. If 100k are farms that is around 70m bushels a day without counting demo farmers and smaller countries!

Netting tags are typically all x because most have little to no D so they try to avoid conflict. 1:1 retals are usually fine, but I dunno if there's any rule that everyone follows. More than one hit might mean war.

Laf/evo communication was brief. Gerdler messaged me before the set that they are canceling our auto renew unap because they suspect that maybe I'm the kind of guy to have all of laf killed so I can post higher scores and maybe because I let req play in evo a few sets some time before. During the set a laf country asked me about the aid and said it was annoying. I told him it was reps for their help killing resist the set before. I asked who I was talking to and they didn't say, just that they don't get involved in the politics so they don't really know what's up. Turns out that was also gerdler.

Why do you guys keep trying to make evo sound like some secretive d1cks that were trying to sabotage laf? When did I hide this aid that was only made possible by laf? Stop trying to act like you were trying to spare some evo guys. I sent at least 95% of the aid. Andrew might've hit 1.5b nw and sent no aid yet you killed him. The 2 evo countries not hit were laf the set before. That's 100% fine, but I think people would respect you more if you just said we hit evo because we felt like it.

As for the harmful ops laf did to me while we were allied the set before, that was just one country that stopped after I reported it to gains. I didn't know who it was which is why I actually let him play in evo the next set. I thought we were pals, but turns out that was just him being fake. I found out late that set and let him finish out the set in evo, but kicked him from evo after because I don't trust him.

It's first come, first serve. If your SO is next in line and goods hit at or under it will buy up your whole order unless you run out of money then the next in line goes. Unfortunately if you're in front of the line and a very small batch hits the market that doesn't fill your order you move to the back of the line =(

If you stock a 7.739:1 bushels:barrels ratio you can sell food on your pm and jump completely off your pm by burning your oil.

Go mono
Recall goods
Drop most land(leaving maybe 2k-3k) and sell food for $35 on pm
Drop all land so you're 100% mbs
Go Theo
Burn oil
Buyout pm

What I did was bought a lot of Military tech so I could go Theo before dropping land and buyout my pm once before dropping land and buying out again. I didn't get enough which is why I sold at 34 instead of 35, but I didn't need as much oil. I still didn't have enough though which is why I had to buy some off the public still. You need like a 11-12:1 ratio for that, but I prob had 14-15:1 ratio.

Are you #20? I think you get your land too late most of the time. Your hits were still worth it, but you didn't have much land the first half of the set. Get land quicker, then stock or spend bonus on expenses and keep growing.

Theo techer is easy for everyone. You don't need as much land, tech prices are always decent, and you always have good military prices on your pm. It's ceiling usually isn't as high as other strats, but it's easier to stay at the top for most of the set.

Untaggeds killed 3(almost 4) Snake members this set. We always do all x here, but after that I've just been farming them. I saw you were almost dead so I snagged a kill. You might want to join a team or post which country is yours asking for a dnh next set so there's no mistakes. I've already been promised to be killed out of protection next set =P

You can only place 25% of goods/tech on the market(35% for commie). You can place 100% of food/oil, but keep enough food/cash on hand for w/e turns you will use.

A farmer that has sold 100s of millions of bushels is technically lowering prices and preventing starvation. Non-farmers are responsible for high prices. I think we all know that =P

Another example of why I like to send a message. Did you get away with the ror altogether or did they do a second retal? I typically wouldn't trust someone's word that they'd accept a second retal, lol(I'd trust you since I know you).

The message is simply to avoid mistakes. Now they know their choice, ror and war or accept and move on. It's not aturan's fault, but they're both in a war regardless. The reason I keep it to one word is because anything more just feels like fake talk. "Retal" is just business.

I only do this if I think the other player is an experienced one. If I think it's one of those lower level guys I avoid hitting them back until I know they can't hit me back because they prob won't understand their choice anyway. No message needed in that case.

If I do a retal I always send a one word message "retal." I always know who I've hit and who has hit me, but I don't count on others to remember or check. The message is really just to up my odds of not getting hit back than it is a courtesy to them.
