Coming back to a suggestion already made for the Primary. But, I am absolutely convinced that none of the admins will give a sh... and that strong countries will come here to justify that the game is perfect and does not need changes. Was again attacked 4-5 times by a country that jumped to become 4 times bigger. Although I was attacked 5-6 times, I cannot even send him missiles that I have. There is no way for small countries to retaliate and defend themselves. Super easy for a large country to reduce their size a bit, get 3.5-3.7 times bigger than a small country, attack 4-5 times and then escape to become more than 4 times bigger, so they are protected. No I am not a suicider, but yes I should be able to hit a larger country at least as many times as that looser attacked me. Now, tell me all sort of things if you wish, as this forums has rules only for those who are not friends with the admins... I already wrote here, but this game has potential to have a lot more players, but there is no incentive to stay...

Anyways if you want to get in range in primary just switch to farmer sell your food at $65/ea and in a few days you will be in range. Or make oil rigs and sell oil at $400.

either way max out your warefare tech, save your cash and once you have $1.5B jump within range and wreck them. It what I have done every time that I start late or fall behind...

Is your suggestion to allow smaller countries special rules to ignore humanitarians or to allow everyone to ignore humanitarians after x amount of attacks?

Buy warfare, build more IC set to 100% spies and stock cash until you can jump in NW and missile/spy dump on them.

You only have to get into 4x range.

Dropping Humanitarians for the exact same number of attacks, both ways. Any small country would not be stupid enough to attack 5 times a larger country not expecting retal. In such a case, the small country is a suicider, so in this case, rules are required. You attack me 5 times like a wuss, I can attack back also a number of times. It is too easy now for a country to get 2000 acres and escape from retal.

In all seriousness, I post the same advice in this topic as most others. Spies and missiles. They are expensive but worth more defense/offense than any troop when it comes to retaliation for land farming you. He/xir might ruin your beginning, but if you save and plan accordingly you can trash 2S/they midgame or commit to EOSS. A lot of times if you cause troubles they will stop hitting or stay out of range. Otherwise it's war.

But the bigger country had to follow the rules of humanitarians so why should the smaller country not have to? In your suggestion you want special rules for the small country to get free hits on the bigger one.

If farming someone for 2k acres and avoiding retals is too easy why don't you do it?

Topfeeding is hitting people at the top. It was more of a thing before they changed the rules to where a grab can never be more than 10% of your land.

Before I could build a 5k acre techer and stock 2b cash, max weaps, and max mil strat. I could easily break anyone with that setup and "topfeed" a top guy. If they had 40k acres I would prob get something like 5500a(8000a) which would nearly triple my acreage. Now in that same scenario the 5k acre country could only get a max of 500 acres plus ghost in one hit.

He was the last two sets so pretty sure he is one now too.

This takes a small amount of time and what I think he's hoping for is an immediate solution to his knee-jerk reaction after logging in.

Yeah he basically wants to be able to get GDI voided after being farmed so he can lob his missiles, i mean it's not a bad idea but I don't know it can be coded to only have one country void the 4x rule, and if it voids it both ways then the bigger country will have a field day when he logs back in and in the end TheStupid will lose more...

I like to think I am to a small degree, but I would never assume, play the card, or brag about it.

Huge difference between a small and large country. The large one can scale down, attack and grab, and then go back out of reach. A small one cannot do that as easily. What I am saying is not that it is easy to get to the top, but it is easy when you are there to farm small countries and feed on them, abuse from the farmer country and then jump again out of reach.

There is absolutely nothing that a small country can do to protect itself or retaliate. Humanitarian rules allow smaller countries not to be killed if they did not declare war of attacked many times. But, humanitarian rules are so protective of large countries that you cannot even send attacked to either get some land back or destroy some land as retal. I understand the rules are there to avoid suiciders to kill large countries just for sake of it. But these is a margin in being able to at least retaliate. From a pseudo-coding perspective, the rule could drop humanitarian rules for as many attacks as the large countries performed on the smaller country and then reactivate them. The same could also apply if a small country that is within reach attacks many times a larger country that then becomes out of reach. The smaller country was stupid enough, so it should be allowed for the large country to attack back as many times. Not asking for specials rules only for small, but at least to be able to stop large countries to farm on smaller ones and escape out of reach. Have been attacked many times by countries that are just on the edge of being 4 times larger. They reduced their NW, attacked and then bought enough military or techs to be again out of reach.

This exactly the answer I was expecting. You are absolutely not getting my point. Not always possible. Please read and try to understand the underlying problem of the rules instead of simply thinking that the game does not need improvements.

90% of my building in Farms and Oil Rigs, so not that much of a rainbow. The others are simply ghost acres obtain from attacks... So, if this is what you define a rainbow, than so be it. But, it cannot be a determinant factor that much.

This is completely false. I think what you're trying to say is there is absolutely nothing you can do right that second to fulfill the urge for revenge. But it actually doesn't take that long if you will take the time to read the advice that others have already stated (and I'm sure stated more than once when you brought this up the last time). It's clear that you did not take their advice and are still looking for an actual change in the game coding to appease what you want to do in that exact moment rather than just learning how to respond in these situations yourself armed with a bit of knowledge from more experienced players.




Humanitarian rules in the game benefit both sides equally in my opinion. I don't see how they lean one side over another when everyone has to play by those rules and everyone has the opportunity to place themselves on either side of that coin each round. In most situations like this, i'm guessing any attack you would be able to send if humanitarians allowed you would result in DH, so getting your land back the moment you login and see the hits is unlikely. That means you're looking for access to harmful spyops and missiles, which only reinforces the suggestion you're seeking change to support a more lazy play style rather than putting in the effort and being patient enough to do what many others already do - sell stockpiles, buy military to get in range, unleash.




But you are asking for special rules to appease you and maybe a couple others that are either too lazy to do the work to achieve the same outcome, or too stubborn to allow someone to teach you how to play better.

I disagree, this game is managed by great mods like Galleri and Prime. These 2 mods offered you good advice for your problem. And some of the best players like Tmac, Req, and Superfly also gave you advice in this thread. There's one subpar mod in this game but that point is irrelevant.
