Pang. I agree with you. the failure to communicate on BOTH sides is what caused this in the end, and MY failure (as someone who SHOULD know better) to ensure that we had retallers from the outside also brought this in.
sides. it's not LaF personally I hate, just your own attitudes and policies :p

add to that I am a warmonger, I am quite happy blowing up whoever. in fact if you look through this thread, I am about the only person unconcerned by us being attacked, and also admitting that there was basis and justfication :p

now given I am PDM's VP, to say that all pdm leaders automatically try to point the blame elsewhere is not entirely true.

however, I am still also correct in stating that thomas intended to farm us from the outset regardless of consequence, so to THAT it is my fault for not ensuring we could respond to THOMAS in kind from the outset.
it is a downer that collab never spoke to me at any stage though.

most of what you say here axa is true, and thin though it is, is justification for war.
However, when it comes to failing to communicate I would say collab have been just as guilty. KR's on one of our members without even giving us a heads up? Yeah thats a little rude. Do I believe our member deserved it? Partly. You farmed us, he responded in kind, and continued after the DNH. (thats why I say justified). Anyways meh. Let's have some fun :)

pang: this is a generous measure from LaF, and if you are serious about it, its something that will go a long way towards mending the fences between LaF and PDM, at least from PDM's side of the fence.

tAN is being kept locked in the senate basement in PDM, where bman and myself shall take turns in using him as a hump toy.

so what you are saying pang, is that it's alright for an LaF member to take 4x what he lost in the first place as 'far reps'?
despite the fact that it's also 4x what was agreed on?

it is not reasonable to justify taking FAR more than what was agreed on between FA's as being fair reps, in any way shape or form by claiming "oh we're already losing out".

the agreement was also, to my knowledge at any rate, that any members who felt they were going to go well over 100% l:l as occurred in these cases were to be compensated with cash/military reps instead.

We aren't talking about like everyone having say 20 million turrets, but really... you're theoretically sitting on 30k acres, and only have a TOTAL break (that's turrets tanks and troops) of like 800k? that's just plain lazy and retarded.

I have to back tan on this. PDM is unfortunately resposnible.
I may not think we SHOULD pay the reps, given that LaF have retarded one handed policies that benefit them for when they get hit, but that do not benefit someone hit BY them as equally if the situation is reversed, but that is irrespective of the point.

LaF are a major key to changing how this game is played through their attitudes and playstyle. You as the primary developer of the game and as a member of LaF should be pushing to change the attitudes of the members and leaders of your clan.
Instead of having retarded policies that suit you and screw everyone else, how about tone it back some, be reasonable to deal with, and lay off the farming small clans and untaggeds. If you don't your own clan is going to simply push any new members you gain from facebook or whatever straight back out of the door.

I think not. anyone else would be lucky to get back half what they demand.
would your members pay reps to all the countries they farm into the ground all set long?
what LaF lost is minor compared to what LaF rapes from new/untagged players every single set.
maybe if LaF changed their attitudes towards the game a little, things might get better.

sure you can do it, and to be honest even if we were still fully prepped you could do it fairly easily, but it still screws your netting set :)
