I got approximately 20 missiles, i am considering using all of them on last day on someone to see the extent of the dmg i can inflict... But I am reconsidering due to moral reasons, but am tempted to anyway... So should I or should i not?

I don't like the discussion about just finding the guy with the biggest stock to ruin. Like, ruin him because he's going to win? After he played a month on that country? Isn't there anyone that pissed you off some, if you really must use the missiles?

I am just curious as to how much land/population/army would be lost

jets killed = ROUND(MIN(0.03*attacker_jets, 0.01*defender_jets))

turrets killed = ROUND(MIN(0.03*attacker_turrets, 0.01*defender_turrets))

tanks killed = ROUND(MIN(0.03*attacker_tanks, 0.01*defender_tanks))

new defender readiness = round(0.981*old_defender_readiness)

Assuming I killed 1% of his army each time, I could probably calculate how many units he has as my relative spy power is weaker thn him I cant gain intel with spying

However, that's easier said then done, and i'm really lousy at maths

On looking at the formula closely, I realized that I didn't do much dmg to his tanks and troops as I had very few of them.

I should have spied on him after that, I also didn't realise that cruise missiles kill spies.

The arrogance... Attacking me when I had 30 missiles...

Forget the cruise missiles I typically would only use thouse if I intended on grabbing the guy or if he was done jumping and I really wanted to damage his NW. Chems and Nukes is where it's at.

I did attack you back for your retal on my retal, ABed you, sent you a few my own missiles (sadly only had 5 chems), and sabotaged the majority of your missiles.

Next time, don't make a threat, just do it. Also, have more than 0 tanks if you're going to threaten someone :)

I guess I should comment on the topic itself:

I wouldn't use my missiles unless it was warranted. Like, for example, when you retaliated my retal AND used missiles to make the break easier. That's an act of war in my book and special military attacks are fair game.

@Bobo. I suspect someone will be eating the rest of those missiles before the set is over. Also, I'm going to assume you didn't think much further than this but If Gzi went from 20 missiles to 26 missiles in 24 hours, how long do you think it will take before you will be eating some missiles? Or do you intend to spy away his missiles everyday?

I think I was able to get about 14-16 of them but I lost count and I will definitely continue to spy them away.

However, I've also bought some SDI, just in case :)

@Gzi, if there's anything I have learned (actually had to re-learn) is that in this game I have always regretted being a gentleman. You have to be a head buster. I just got bent over in my tourny too. Hopefully I will learn, I just can't help it.

I attacked you 1st? My bad.

I did learn a few things - the moral of the story haha...

1)After I had more than 15 missiles, not many people attacked me even though I had a minimal defense and tons of land.
2)That was why I was reluctant to launch, cause if I used them, people would start attacking me asap.
3)Even though my spal was high, enabling me to spy on 80% of my targets, countries like bobo, a dictatorship, still managed to trump me in spal and defeat me...
