quite a few tags that actually would have wanted this war that would have offered at least some challenge (even if its just a who would win), most without much of a current threat.

as an example villains and elders seem really bored right now

Elders and us have warred the past 3 sets. No sense in repeating it. In fact that first war with Elders was the same situation as this, but they were an idle war tag at the time. As for the choice of HCaFC, I didn't like it, but WHO ELSE WAS THERE TO HIT? All other clans 4+ teams outside of weedylar were already involved a war or hitting others. This game may be on a slow death, but I intend on playing my way as long as it is around. If this game turns into everyone hugging trees 95% of the time, not worth playing.

My point is... if you want to net, you can net all you like. But it's silly to net with low/no SDI and low/no Spal and low/no warfare tech. I mean, protect yourselves and at the very most you will fend off the wolves and at the least you will be able to defend yourselves.

Team has been a war server for a long time. You wanna net on this server, try contacting the other teams and securing a DNH in some way. Hell you wanna net in peace, play Alliance and find one that turtles the whole way. The thing about this server is its unpredictability. You should always prepare for the worst case scenario. I know I do in Alliance, we are netting, but I'm sure going to be prepared to flip that coin when it comes to it.

Ha....excuses. Just tried to let you walk a mile in my shoes.

Simply put, there was no pact, so all this whining is sour grapes. If you quit the game, that is your problem. I don't want people to quit the game, but I have space for whiners.

That being said, I am open to pacts. Currently, DrunkSex only has one, the only clan that has bothered to contact me about a pact in 4 months. Been around for serveral sets now, so get a hold of me if you want to talk. I am a straight talker.

Why is netting an excuse for not carrying adequate defense, be it in the form of SPAL, SDI, etc?

There is a cost/benefit calculation being made when one decides how to build their country.

I did have all 3, not maxed, somewhere in the middle, when you're running a rep casher and buy net worth you need to optimize and there will be compromises made, my country wasn't a dead beat however being a rep makes you a juicy target.

I like killing as much as the next guy but I've argued many times about the netting countries and those with war time/protection techs and average defense. Depending on strat getting certain unused techs or too much defense hinders ones ability to lg especially those who bottomfeed too much defense/tech inflates nw which severely shrinks Ur target choices for that type of strat

don't forget about the politics aspect of team. since im in a war tag i don't really care about pacts... unless someone approaches me asking for a dnh or something because they want to net. you might even try to make some friends who might go to war on your behalf against those who you couldnt get an agreement with.

does any of this violate the rules of team server?

I feel like pacts would have stopped this from happening lol. I have held respect for the few tags that offered me pacts when i made our tag, and a few times now, it's the only thing that stopped us from going after some juicy netterrs with inadequate defense lol.

If you want ti net here you simply need to pact out the war tags.

If the refuse then you at least have the fear there to make sure you build your netting countries with enough defense to keep the killers at bay.

I honestly feel bad for anyone that actually gets mad over this game .. life's not long enough for that kinda nonsense lol
