On another infraction, I did an attack on a clan, and waited 56 hours before self-farming, and was caught with two-stepping. I argued but still took my licks.

I assume this is where my confusion came in. I had hit my own country 48 hours before doing anything else. I was out of DR and thought a 24 hour window was acceptable. I apologize for my mistakes, but let's just fix this and keep the game growing.

But again, in the beginning I didn't know if this 2 stepping, and I took retals for it. Now I hear about 'reverse' two-stepping(if i even touch my own country all set), if I'm too jet heavy, if I have a lot less land than someone else, etc. Everything I seem to do is wrong. But I don't think too bad for first set. Again though, I think I've made a pretty sweet deal to make up for my mistake and misunderstandings. A country with 34kland(with ghost acres and resources) is well enough to make up for any damage. And a DNH so nobody has to worry about me.

And nobody said anything about 'reverse' two-stepping. In fact, I had the same thing happy to me with #1227 of NBK. Guy attacked his own country 4 times the day before hitting me. I asked about it but I'm pending in-game replies.

Nobody said to me, if you grab yourself at All, and later grab someone else(even if not in DR), that's two-stepping.

I've already yielded an entire country over for reparations, and just made a DNH pact with the entire server. What more is wanted?

BTW me and SOTA are working this out in a civilized manner. But thanks to everyone else for chyming in and trying to get me killed.

I get hit for big losses too. I thought that was the nature of merely landgrabbing? You're saying I can't landgrab at ALL? is that the nature of the server? Everyone seems to have a different rule.

I was told about "two-stepping", which I didn't know about, and haven't done it since. Now I hear "reverse" two-stepping?? I just don't get it. It seems nothing is allowed, even though I take it on the chin when I lose in grabs, just check the news.

But ok I'm gonna put it like this, since I don't want to end things in turmoil, or cause a never ending feud. An issue came up between #943 and #1497. There were more claims about 'two-stepping', but I didn't see it. I messaged Twain about this in-game, but after reading these posts, it seems I'm automatically in the wrong for 'reverse-two-stepping', even though if u check #1497 news, he was not in DR 1 little bit. someone hit him for almost 5k after it. You're telling me doing 2 hits on him, and then after 48 hours and all those turns exploring/building he's still in DR even when he was hit for 4-5k??? It doesn't make any sense to me. Either way you seem destined to be pissed off at me, so go ahead and take all the land you want from #1497, as a peace offering, and I won't landgrab anyone else for the rest of the set, so long as they don't hit me. I'll even lower defenses if you alot time.

We're getting such threatening messages from #1195, and I'm not sure why. #1494 just did a landgrab and it was stated he was 'top-feeding'? My understanding of top feeding is attacking someone with much higher networth than yourself, with a lot of jets, PS and weapons. This would take a lot more land. Otherwise, I've been dealing with that all set and didn't kill anyone.

I'd like to settle this issue without such drastic measures. Can't he just retal? And if we want could establish DNH pact if that's how you'd like to play it. This is my first set in Free For All. Sorry to all others for inactivity in Forums.

Yes. The price of land should increase as the amount of land you have increases. I played another game similar to Earth2025 that had this option. It was nice to let people compete without Having to grab people, which would piss anyone off. A bit of math could do the trick

I think it would be greatly benefical to allow people to buy land. The price of such land would increase with amount of land of course, but this would give a great way for peaceful netters to compete. Nowadays in these servers you attack anyone in a clan and you just get PSed with some All-Jet account in the clan. It's B.S. and incredibly hard to grow. Nobody likes being grabbed/farmed. And even if it's not in a clanned server. People still have their friends in other servers and I've ran into them before and they just have friends attack you as well.

Sure, make it a bit more effective to landgrab, but having this option would help a lot. Exploring 6-10 acres a turn just doesn't cut it if you want to win.
