i don't understand why you would convert to mbr with 2 billion dollars in food stockpiled. when you convert your land into military bases, doesn't that lower the selling price of food in the private market? i thought about doing this in tourney this round, but i decided not to convert to mbr because of this reason

for instance, you convert all your acres to mbr. now, instead of selling bushels on private market at 35 dollars, it's now 29 or 27 dollars even with maximum military tech.

and if you try to convert all your bushels into money prior to converting to mbr, you get a lot of corruption during those 80-200 turns you're using to convert to mbr. because you have 4 billion cash

so why would you convert to mbr if you have 2 billion dollars worth of cash in food stockpiled? (assuming you already have 2 billion dollars of cash in the bank that's not food)

i seriously thought food prices were gonna go up. i came to this conclusion not just because of logic but because of some internal motivation to come up with this logical conclusion. this internal motivation was none other than me thinking of impressing a girl in high school. i thought: man, if i had said something like this in high school in front of this girl, wouldn't i look like a total genius?

so i thought up this imaginary scenario of me saying what i said in the first post in front of the girl in high school. and after i thought it up, i realized that the whole thing was pretty much a waste since i'll never be able to do that ever since the girl in high school is now married, so i decided "well, i'll find a way to make that logical conclusion less of a waste", so i posted it here

turned out food prices really didn't go up, because III III III didn't put up much of a fight, and the pierogis guy just rolled over III III III and stole all his land and kept on beating the crap out of III III III for no real reason. this pierogis guy is one scary mother fluffer!

the two big farmers in game A are likely to go crazy on each other. thus, food supply will probably decrease if they start warring. since demand is pretty much at the same level, food prices will skyrocket. load up on food as soon as you can!
