Each of these individuals who have responded are all top netters in our game in primary. Each has more or less agreed to the importance of bpt with a little twist. I can't state it enough, get those CS up optimize better turn usage down the road.

I have spied lots of players this set. Something that stands out in the worst way is everyone's lack of Construction sites.

At a minimum with every strat available including rainbow you need 50 BPT. 180CS unless theo or Dict.

Always and I mean always get at least a 50BPT if you don't you will loose and eventually become farm land to ppl like me. The first 30 days you can get away with 120,140 CS etc. Once we get to the back half the game you will stall out. Unable to grab, grow, build, spy all in one days 54 turns.

I say this to be helpful, and if we are talking about me I go for 100BPT regularly. This set I'm a little behind that but still growing.

It is okay to make 1 grab in the early days in 1 day build that then throw 20 CS down and repeat for a couple days. That is better then attempting to get to the top in land and net then realizing you have a 30bpt and can't grab and grow as effectively as everyone else.

Point here get to a minimum 50bpt folks. You will be happy you did on the second half the game which we are in.

Also instead of being the one always running from everyone else. I had the pleasure of the chase on the other foot. It is really satisfying smashing someone on a retal for a grab earlier. Perhaps I was to quick to call out my farmer.

I was spying the big commies this morning and all had superior spal. This little trick in my mind helped me alot.

Well folks another techer dropped his land #98. Looking at his history it appears he is a techer.

So it seems to me perhaps we will be staying around 2k or higher. Lots of techers have moved on.

Dorsai, Hauling Beams, kungpao topfeeder and jungle runner Koh are the big ones I know as techers. Few of those demos not sure about but could be. Anyhow point is lots have moved on.

Very weird I have a 30 spal and can break 40 or 50 no problem. Then a 10spal I'll fail 5 ops in a row. So yes same here KoH.

I wouldn't use that guy to make a comparison against. He has 2 or 3 research pacts for free tech and a horrible and I mean horrible BPT.
In fact I'm surprised he wasn't doing better as a rep with these cheap prices.

I've been purchasing as much as I could for days. Some days not even purchasing military just to get in on the tech.

Tech prices will be moving up here I guarantee it. I bet within 4 to 5 days of this message tech will all be close to 2k range or even little higher.

I suppose as a farmer it's all about patience and slower play style. That is not my strong suit so this strat is not my style. And I say this as bushells sit at a hardy 45 to 46 dollar price range.

I would imagine last sets lack of price action made that almost impossible to compete for the win. I just realized this as I'm playing it.

I'm going to be honest I don't like playing from behind. I won't be doing a tech start again. So far it's really dropped my interest in the game. Sure have a couple retals but I like being top 5 all set. Good experiment I suppose but will not be happening again. Also this farmer strat I commend you all, I fluffing hate it, I will not play it again.

Hard to say. When someone uses bonus points on defense I generally don't see them as a threat attacking me later. Also when you have a 600 turn shortfall that hard ground to make up.

I purchases some coins or tokens or credits whatever they are. Anyhow not clicking on fire hydrants or crosswalks or buses anymore was worth it all for that alone. Having the extra bonus point a day is nice also but I tell ya just log in and get the bonuses is fantastic.

I never donated to patron status as of this moment just the premium status. To those who are on the fence at least get the credits and get premium status. It is worth it alone just to not have the bonus captchas to deal with.

More so in alliance I would think. The big one here is the auto bonus which like my previous thread stated can be impactful compared to the people who don't pay.

I'll be contributing and purchasing. I was just hoping for a 1 time payment for the year. Like Bug said 20$ for the year. I don't like the point system to purchase credits to use for premium service for a month or more.

Ty for drawing my attention to that KoH. I like 1 idea and that's no longer having to do the bonus sites for points. Also having 1 extra point a day does do a little more. As a commie I found it the best to go to 44% expenses reduction. Could add another 4.8% or 5.6% expense reduction depending when you stop your points.

48.8% or 49.6% at the end in expenses. I just want to say this changes a lot. This can add millions in networth and change the game. Breaking 100 will become easier now and scores all should drift higher just off this one change. It may create more excitement in the markets also. This set should be a nice change.

Lost billions in expenses to that particular aggressive style. Next set I'm not playing the front runner and will hide in the top 10 to 20 and chase retals when people hit me.

I'd say tech would have dropped 10% in price if you stayed, food up 10% in price and a final net of 85m is where you would have came in or around perhaps even a little higher.
