I actually think Fasc Farmer and CI are on-par, though CI requires way more effort because of selling military on public to run turns.

If you're looking to tryhard this set, let me know. Haha I'll try my best to put up some good competition (and rem to login lol), make it more fun. I won't play techer though, otherwise we'd just crash the market prematurely.

103m nw, was amazing conditions and well played country.

Can get 80m+ nw on a good set with great prices, and logging in a lot (lol).

Otherwise, these days where folks are just slamming bots into deep DR, and suiciders flying around left and right, and tech crashes early, you're more likely to land somewhere between 65-75m nw most sets.

How to get there:

Market: In Express, tech prices peak Thurs/Fri, and Saturday. You wanna sell as much as possible on Thurs/Fri.

Generally, you'd wanna grab to 20-25k acres, somewhere between turn 700-900. Then you'd tech all turns, sell max as often as you can, and stock bushels.

From this point on, you're gonna steal stockpile from techer bots. Basically, you'd want to PS the techer bots as often as possible, and just don't bother building the land (you'll get to a point where your tpt starts rising even when you don't build the land). Doing this (depending on how much time you have or want to commit), you'd end up somewhere between 40-60k acres.

Then you'd want to do a long logout, and then destock as a theo. (Put everything on market, switch to Monarchy, recall food, and sell food on private for 38, then switch to theo and buy everything.)

Conclusion: This all depends on how much you want to commit to logging in a lot. The more often you login, the more PSes you'd send out (every 4 hours), the more tech you can sell on the market at peak prices (since tech can show up on market in half hour on Express), the better the finish. It's prob hard for all of us to login so much (what with work and life), so playing this lazily and ending 35-40k acres, you should still get 60m+ nw easily.

Perhaps I'll do a lazy casher this set.

I'm against bots on primary. I see the servers now like this:

Solo Servers:
Primary (no bots, "large" server) - As close to old Earth as possible, but with a lot of more farming of real people than someone's multies.
Tourney (no bots, small server) - Europe in 1942 (10 countries wild west).
Express (bots, "large" server)- Mostly "Single player experience" but with regular suiciders.

I don't play on any of the rest anymore so hard for me to comment on their current state.

Primary with bots would just become a slower, longer Express.

Yea agree with KoH - at this player number it doesn't seem possible. Gerdler got real close, and it was in a set with 116 players (almost double!).

Also agree with Andrew, that demo farmer is probably the highest potential strat, barring phenomenal market conditions, for a mad finish to happen (given player numbers).

The easiest strats to win Express is probably Fasc Farmer (sell food on PM the entire set, and you can do it for $38 actually, so isn't really market dependent), and Commie Indy (price at whatever allows you to sell immediately).

Then you probably have techer (theo or tyr), but very market dependent on how hard tech prices spike/crash.

Casher is probably the weakest of the lot in Express, owing to it being rather difficult to stock food as a casher, but probably the most straight forward strategy to play if you just eat corruption.

Why would it be considered coordination, if he hit everyone, and then they all independently decide to retal?
Unless you're sharing spyops in messages or breaks, or hit times.

Express DR is actually part of the server details:

Diminishing Returns
This server has nonstandard settings for diminishing returns of attacks. DR half-life is 8 hours and country-to-country DR is 72 hours.

Players this set went from 68 to 69! Whoopee!

I wouldn't mind, though it's just going to be who runs the best 999 acre demo techer, given that's the highest production and you'd need to play the market. (Any challenge that limits the acreage, is almost always gonna be a demo techer challenge.)

I also wouldn't mind doing like the tyr casher challenge again - it was painful but at least there are more degrees of freedom on how one would play it vs 999 acre challenge.

Or best dictator finish. lol That could be fun too.

I've decided to try something silly and just tech everything I need for the entire set... and then grow as a non-techer. There's just not enough tech on the market during a non-bot set (not enough anything really), and not enough land as any country can kill anyone else with 360(360) turns. Let's see where we finish! (if I manage to..)
