Also Trot I'm sorry you are so mistaken about the conceptions as to how land trading can work. You don't need countries anywhere near your land size or nw to trade with if you know what you are doing. Even now I could play without any of the things you think a good trader needs and pass those nw's posted. Rd also internally traded hits during that period and hadn't though outside the box as to how to trade efficiently. Also the set your talking about none of the RD countries were built up as they traded and in effect were passed in ending nw because of this...a lot of that big set was actually sub optimal for all of the t10 players and if the game formulars were still the same you would find that there are a number of players (that know how to and could inside LaF) pass 500m nw playing the trader.

tella from the lack of NW i saw in his finishes thats what i was thinking too... Eugene i thought HLW only did the early hitting on that 400m nw set ???

Outside that i thought he was amongst our top countries going in and was breaking for us in any of those other war sets.

the original CM in LaF .... i think he may have been one of the highschool group of friends in LaF....

Hanlong is by far the best i've seen going around. He has won this server in EE and E2025 with all the strats and not just the one style. I think he was up to about 7 or 8 alliance server wins and thats over the different periods that he's played the game.

Just saying none of my t10's in Laf and MKR i think it was later on in E2025 alliance servers were shiesty....


Samzx i believes would have a strong claim to being the best going around also.

I like the countries Vincey and Osso both throw up all the time... Landtrading and non landtrading they do well.

smlandau84's top finishes aren't impressive at all the nw's were very low for land trading and are before landtrading even got nerfed (good finishes still) so from the outside strat wise it looks like his skill levels are around that of mine (which i don't rate in the top 10 or so going around or that have been around) I played a far from perfect trader and passed 320m nw myself with ease... and this set was likely headed for 280ish after nerfs with a slightly better played trader than that set. I would like to see some of ur non trading finishes though for a better gauge.

(i haven't looked outside LaF very often in the last 9 years though... because when we netted there really wasnt much of a challenge for rank 1 outside of LaF)

Xin, Hao, Bakku, SS, Eugene, SG, cm, aqua and Reignz to me were the next tier behind those t2

followed by the rest of us hacks. (btw my T10's on the alliance servers have been with non trading techers, farmers and cashers and also trading farmers)

the reason people suicided LaF in the first place was because LaF players could do as u suggested and grab other alliances and be skilful enough to outrun the retals...

A country played with the intention to suicide can suicide anyone at any point during the set also... i could play a 2-3k acre country that is grabbed 10 times a day and still take out the countries going for the top spots even if they had 20m defense points.

People suiciding is the main thing driving players away from this game atm. If this were my game and i wanted to grow the player base (as i'm sure the game developers would like too) this is the sort of thing that needs to be taken out of gameplay.... be it by deleting players and profiles and IP banning them also and reinstatement of others to where they were before it happened.

All of the above i would have in place...

I am also a huge fan of Special attacks only being allowed ingame between warring alliances through and admin declare war feature like has been suggested.... No tag = no specialised attacks function too (tag must have 10 members to be able to go to war also)

I myself am coding illiterate so i have absolutley no idea how much work those ideas are to implement.... I do like the idea of the community even being able to come up with the game fixes/tweaks by a voting system.

old formular mate... thats been the trouble with dealing with griefers this set... u have to run them out of resources before you kill them... the new workings increase the power of someone like this 10 fold against those trying to just netgain and do it with any sort of efficiency. 3 or 4 people hitting an alliance trying to net is more than an alliance can handle now.

All of Laf's top countries have been run through this set now.

I had 45 million bushels on the market and i had been online all day waiting for them to sell to up my defense after my conversion to fascism.... it was only a small window of oppurtunity.... its hard trying to cover urself 3 ways like that with the way the game mechanics are... i lucked out by a matter of hours or minutes... who knows.

Those in this game that know who i am will most likely tell you i'm the last person that deserves this kind of thing.

I have always recruited and taught players in this game and at time i have been teaching 30 plus people at the one time. I have also done it on different servers for different alliances at the same time (just alot of you know that i have been in LaF for the last 9 years now) I want to see this game succeed... and people like this don't deserve to be here... we stopped killing people in under a minute for people waring when you have 20+ people trying to kill them... but we have a scenario where 1 person can destroy 6 weeks work in a minute ??? ... It doesn't make sense.

And for those that want to look i am #296 ... i have not hit anyone this set that i wasn't trading land with (the game is geared that way for netting so i'll play that way while its the most viable option to attain as much nw as possible) and i have already lost 150 turns worth of play earlier this set to another griefer.

Im the first to help someone that needs help in this game when i'm online and i see someone asking for help... i'm now asking for the game to help keep people like me in this game.

But seriously to the mods... 6 weeks gone in 65 seconds to 1 person???

You guys have done a lot to try and improve this game. I think it's about time u took a stand and stomp out griefing.

Delete and ban these players and restore countries. (I know it won't happen this set) but this kind of thing happens time and time again and has driven a lot of dedicated tree huggers away from this game. There is always a lot of talk about cleaning this game up, it's time to look after the guys you have here that play for the community.

The whole tit for tat business would tend to dictate that to be fair you would at least target the people that did the farming... I think someone did the numbers about hits per country from alliance to un tagged a in the past and yes LaF did lead total hits made but was about 4th overall when it came to the average number of hits made.

The same guys that ab'd oldman also spied me... And I have not hit a single un tagged or spam tag country all set... Tbh I'm surprised I wasn't levelled also according to this mentality.

Also from what I've seen it's only been LaF countries (well those competing for the top spots anyways) that have been targeted at all this set :(

I would tend to target the ones that have been doing the farming... All u do is piss off the rest of the guys (the ones that didn't and have not hit you) and make them support the others.
