In regards to Fortress Europe (#21) vs A T U R A N (#51):

The blame for the RoR has been placed on me, and my lack of courtesy. When i make my retals i never send a retal message because i find them annoying and obnoxious. Ask cracky.

Fortress made the first (early) grab. I took my sweet time retalling (take the best ones last). As stated above i did not message retal with my hit. He RoRed me back, which I do believe was a mistake, but obviously at that point I'm going to drop the hammer.

Am I in the wrong for not submitting a retal message? Should I revise my policy? Isn't it easy enough to just take 2 seconds to check eestats?

#4 and #14 still look like they have a chance. Although I think it's clear that #3 probably will win.

To be fair I don't know what their countries look like other than the scores sheet and news. They probably received enough punishment in full.

It's been a scrappy round. I've definitely received some aggressions that haven't been in the news.

You can not guarantee #14 will not win. Only the Earth Gods can guarantee such things. The Aturan Empire will win eventually.

Rocky, since I'm the one selling the food I think I can explain some of it. Most techers are not actively stockpiling food at 70. Most sales I am making are for 500k bushels or less each. People are buying to play turns.

I could just pull my stock off the market and then food would be much higher. I personally am well into corruption as it is right now.

I'm a man who likes to jump early, but it's a little early yet even for me.

The only thing I don't know, is where are all the bushels from the farmers. I have orders out under my stock and not much is filling.

You have had some bad luck with RoR this set, but I think overall you have had good target selection. Yes, many of us often take a few hits from rainbows early on while running low defense. If we are lucky, maybe a good player will hit, and that can be turned into a bigger retal later, like you say.

You may benefit from delaying your retals against rainbow players by a few days. That way you will be in a better defensive position and less likely to get RoRed on. Rainbows are unpredictable and much more likely to RoR than a better player. Unless it's one of our unhinged commies.

Maharlika: your style of play is dumb. You will get retaled by all the large players you hit. I will make sure to take mine soon, before you get deleted for target sharing or some other violation like you did last set.
