You gotta know when to back off bro! The more spies you lose on a failed op, the more spies the other guy has. If your losses indicate the other guy has unholy SPAL, either blind hit or move on I guess? I will certainly admit, I feel like every set I have more trouble getting ops through than the last, but i've never run out of ops spying for a single set of grabs!

Bore specifically mentioned he removed showing the top 10 all-explore countries, because it was an operation that was too slow and killed the database. You essentially had to go through all the news from the start of the reset. Especially searching for "all time top 10 all explores", that took minutes.

This is one of the best Commie resets I've seen for a long time.

Top Commie: 37k land
Top Techer: 28k land
Top Casher: 27k land
Top Farmer: 25k land

That's ~133% land compared to the Techer, and ~150% compared to the Farmer.

I think 75M NW is possible for an all-explore. I got 65M NW but I got grabbed and food wasn't that cheap that round.
But the odds of getting 75M NW is probably as hard as hitting 150M NW as an attacker.

It seems like part of the reason why CIs are doing so well this set is because of the announced game changes. One of them was that the NW attack penalty loss for the attacker (cube root of the NW ratio) was supposed to be removed as announced in the Announcements. Only that it wasn't actually removed. People feel that military demand would drop this set, and fewer are playing CIs.

Well, except demand is just as high, but supply is far lower.

Why is the goods-to-market time so long? From my estimates around 3-4hrs? This should be on the order of 15 minutes I think, seeing how nothing else is realistic in this game..

Goods takes 4-6 hours to reach the market on primary.

The only server it is 15 min is Express.

The duration to market is scaled approximately with the server's 1 turn every X minutes.

For example,
Primary is 1 turn every 30 minutes --> 4-6 hours for goods to market (8-12 turns).
Alliance is 1 turn every 20 minutes --> 4-5 hours for goods to market (12-15 turns).
Team is 1 turn every 15 minutes --> 2-3 hours for goods to market (8-12 turns).
Express is 1 turn every 4 minutes --> 0.25-0.75 hours for goods to market (3.75-11.25 turns).
