Just curious to what people say, i consider it a clear topfeed but lets see how others view it

One of the ways of identifying a top feed is that when you can't recover 80% of your land back with one retal, it is a top feed.

Even using standards that are way easier on the attacking country than the one I mentioned above, I would call it a top feed.

If the original country had less land than the person he hit, it's a topfeed.

Most of the time what you described is a topfeed, but it's possible to give the retal to someone who has a much higher NW so it ruins the retal returns.

Ok, I will get 150% mil strat then start grabbing EVO. Your analysis is silly. Whether a landgrab is an intentional hit to get more land than the defender can reclaim with a single retal (what everyone has been referring to as a topfeed) is the only thing relevant here.

How can you determine if it is a topfeed or not when you dont know the NW and Land of both countries before the first attack?

If the inability of the defender to make a proper retal turns a midfeed into a topfeed, then whats the point of grabbing?

i think the concept of "topfeeding" should be discarded from the game until it grows more.

there isn't enough land as it is, so getting stingy with retalling is lame.

As for spawn, I dont care about ghost acers for me they are a bonus and has nothing to do with anything else not to mention that if you count ghost acers being gained in the retal you should add it being gained in the original hit to not one way like you do

and the Country A has a member his clan hit his country a few times (sidestepping) so he has DR's so that Country B can't retal??

if we are to get technical about it, midfeed is the new TF since the last change mehul made to the game in 2007 or so. Dunno if they played around with the math in EE, though.

side stepping, 2 stepping is all about intentions in this case it wasnt and i definately wasnt contacted about it either in any of these cases and you might hate our standard retal policies thats up to you just realise that they are actually set lower to unpacted tags then they are to pacted tags

I wouldn't call it a topfeed unless country B was had a higher NW than country A - and even then I would say standard retals should apply.....but then again, I don't know my elbow from my asshole in the FA world anymore...

Galleri, when I did FA, I usually informed the offending clan that the 72 hour window did not apply for 2-stepping. If they did not like it they could start buying SDI.

exact same nw and land, tyranny takes more land than a rep
does that mean the tyrannys hit was a topfeed ofcourse not

topfeeds are simple, any situation where country A grabs country B and has less acers after the grab, than country B had before it was grabbed.

i.e.
10k acer country grabs 11k country for 1k acers = no topfeed
9k country grabs 11k country for 1k acers = topfeed

SS, by your definition, you say that the land taken has nothing to do with a topfeed and then you explain how the land taken is an important factor in the top feed. Whoever has less acres after the grab makes the determination of whether it was a topfeed or not.

I do not agree and have never agreed with topfeed rules. L:L is just for pussies who would rather keep more of their stock in bushels tucked away on the market than in turrets defending the acres that have made them so fat.

If you hate losing acres, please, do something about it. Don't complain that you lost acres and that you deserve them back because someone smaller than you was able to hit you and take a ton of land from you. That's just being retarded.
