Does launching missile attacks reduce DR? I'm thinking about farming a suicider, but I seem to remember that him dumping a ton of missiles won't get him out of DR.

Missiles dont create dr but all hits out should reduce your dr

#19 got AB'd to death and driven deep into DR, then he missiled the fluff out of somebody, I was wondering if his missile barrage would have gotten him out of DR so I could hit him. That ship has sailed, I was just wondering. I once heard that missiles had no effect on DR in any way. As none of you has really answered my question, I shall continue my long held Team Server policy of being strictly all-X.

archy: under current rules if player is in very deep dr he/she needs to do alot attacks to get out of dr.

by qz: Alternately, if you are in war, and survived a KR with 100 hits 72 hours ago where attackers were sending more than 133% of the break, with no hits since, you would be at 12.5 DR still, assuming you'd made no hits. Your attacking would reduce those, again based on time.

So, STILL nobody has answered my question.

If Jack gets AB'd 20 times and then launches 20 missiles, can Archaic farm the fluff out of him or will he still be in DR?

I have read this several times and it seems to be meaningless. What is the difference between base DR and halflife DR? DR is DR. One hit should reduce the hitter's DR by 1. The question is whether sending a missile reduces the DR of the missile sender by 1. If it does this is the opposite of the effect of being hit by missile, which has no effect on DR.

Maybe you mean the half life period of ghost acre DR. I believe that the attacker's ghost acre DR is not reduced when he makes any kind of attack.

Well there is 3 dr involved from what i can gather, base dr, half life dr and ghost dr

successful GS/BR/GS add or remove DR

failed GS/BR/GS remove but do not add DR

all missiles don't add or remove DR

That's how it was supposed to work anyway. Only by testing yourself can you be sure if it still works that way.
