for example: If your PM is empty on logoff / with 20K acres and waiting for 82 turns -- on login it would look like:

the above may or may not be correct, or may have changed ... formulas are at least 4 years old, and i am not exactly known for getting it right either ;) --- so double check this with those who may know better.

There is no maximum. Your PM will continue to accrue indefinitely according to the formulas posted by mFrost, which are exactly correct.

The formulas are off slightly.

To put it into laymen terms, the "maxes" are based on one factor:
The amount of units you had when you signed out last.

So if you had 0 units remaining on your PM when you signed out, then the replinish rate will grow linear indefinately until you signed back in.

Troops replinished per turn = 3 * acres
Turrets replinished per turn = 2.5 * acres
Jets replinished per turn = 2.5 * acres
Tanks replinished per turn = 1 * acres

If for some reason you left some troops / turrets / jets / tanks on your PM when you signed out, then that unit will not grow linear.
The reason is because the exponent in the formula is no longer multiplied by 0. So your replenish rate gets smaller and smaller each turn, to the point where you're no longer replinishing anything each turn. Which I guess that could be seen as a "max".

Another important thing you must know--- You must time it so that you sign in before the transitioning of your next turn. Because the second it changes to your next turn, your entire PM is updated and you lose all those *extra* units gained from the linear scale.

so if no maximum you could explore to 20k acres then build all mb and go theo, wait until end of set and have all your friends FA you then buy an infinite amount >.>

Well sorta-- For troops:

You'd have 20k * 3 * number of turns you weren't signed in. So if that # was 2000 turns, then you'd have 120mil troops on your PM if:
You bought out all your troops before signing out.
You bought out all your troops before the transition of your next turn.

To buy it all out would be...
260m NW // 60+60+60+80

so 260m you can buy on top of having 100 people FA you 10% of what they have with such random values in their how much you suppose :P
