I'm still trying to learn this strategy, and have a great commie mentor helping me, but I just do not seem to play fast enough. I still have 170 stored turns. This was a great set for c/i, but I keep screwing myself. I think all of those months of slow playing an all-x + retal rep/casher strategy have my timing off.

That is what I like about Express, though. We have next week to try it again.

Definitely what is good about express, its quick and a good place to learn the flow of a strat, or get back up to speed after being gone for a long while. Timing is so crucial, however sometimes we just get lucky ;)

Express is fun. I am just getting back into Earth after about ten years away. Earth 2025 back then.

I was ashewood this reset.

Yeah, I like the fast pace and when I was playing a lazy rep, it worked out. I spent 200 turns today exploring just trying to burn turns after getting inside the declare war/ humanitarian windows. That would have been an easy 10k-15k acres grabbing (assuming 500 acre avg and I always spy first)

If I had played smarter, faster, I might have given ole ebert a run.

Lazy rep is my speed now. Lol! Not enough time for much else.

I did a test run this reset with LGing some bots, not bad avg. about 440 acres per hit, or approx 8800 acres in 21 LGs... the ghost acres helped. It was just a last minute fluke, to get rid of some stress, and I really was not properly setup to LG so all in all the return on land was a bit surprising. Also did the LGs late in the reset so it probably cost me about 2-3 mil in net, vs. grabbing early and not blowing thru that much military and oil.

there is always next reset though.
