i was automotive HVAC certified at one point. not much help with residential/commercial units though.

free hvac tip:

a blown fuse can be fixed by just jamming a penny in there

a penny only costs a cent where fuses are going to cost multiple cents, so it's pretty financially retarded to use fuses

the fuse industry doesn't make this fact well known because it'd cost them a lot of money

I have done several years of HVAC demolition/installation. Mostly commercial though. Maybe dozen or so resi. While I am familiar and can fix some things, I was never mechanic technician either. So you can decided if I am suitable to send pm to or not.
