I was just wondering how can one finish with more than 30m networth.

I seen ebert00 did it many times with Techer.

A techer @ 30 m nw ... means a 16k land country with tech prices @ 2800 or above. That will get that country into the 30 m nw range. IF however you sell tech @ 2600 or 2400 you need some market trades to get 30 m nw. You must also avoid being retaled - you can get 16k land but if you got retaled twice on the road to it you won`t do it ( because you will put more turns into grab/build and less in teching).

Less than 16k means more of trades and stuff. IS not easy to get a techer @ 30 m nw and to be totally honest here i can`t trust some players do it legit ( even if they do ).

There are a lot of skills involved yylim. I am OK at grabbing and can run an economy as well as the next man but my timing the use of turns (a critical skill in Express) needs work as does having a consistent strategy from turn one (with the right measure of flexibility written in). But for me at present de-stocking is my achilles heel. I just have not had enough experience at it because in Alliance the needs of the clan get in the way of set long netgaining and in solo play I love to duel so few of the sets I play end in a serious de-stock.

If it were just a matter of choosing a particular strat I doubt many of us would keep playing. :)

30 mill is hard. typically as a techer you will need 15k land or so and to have all retals bounce or not be retalled. you also need to not be land grabbed anything past the 1st day out of protection. if you choose your grabs right, you may be able to accomplish this. it is a fine line for turn deferring and avoiding retals. sometimes you get lucky some times you get hit hard. additionally stocking timing is important. if you manage to get your stock at around 40 per bushel, even if you sell for 35 to destock, you will do well. Personally i believe that commy indy is stronger than techer, but i just cant time things right when i try commy indy. i always seem to eat large retals.
