bstrong has a point.

On one hand he is cheating getting free tech. On another, his allies are average techers that are crushing the market for other good clean players.

This is really something that should not happen on solo servers.

There was an Ella Enchanted that I grabbed in my first set when I didn't know how GDI worked, and then two-three unrelated countries unleashed a nuke party on me, hit me with like 30 missiles.

If you think something is against the rules, you should report it so that we can more easily look into it. Obviously Cable felt like these players were abusing the system, else why post this here at all? Reporting suspicious activity makes my job easier, so please do so and myself or another mod can take a look and decide.

Anyway, action was taken and I will not comment on specifics.

Well, I thought there was a line between things players hate but that's technically allowed and things that are deletable. So that if I saw some guy with two monster leeches, I'd be like yo fluff that guy, like Cable was, but I wouldn't try to report it. I will now though.

I have had another good set. No complaints here. My def/intel ally was in purple but now he is not? I don't know what is up with that. I didn't even get attacked once all exploring and should hit 20 million :)

Up until the point of my original post, only his allies were posted. I can run in or around top ten all set long. Maybe not finish top ten, so my logic still stands. Not enough evidence was posted to make a comment on him cheating so instead i say why is he?

I think the problem with leeching is it is usually not diplomatic. Ex. Hey I am a big bad commie you could use some def off and intel and I could use some techs. Usually it is a few buddies setting it up. Or after a diplomatic breakthrough for a leech one set and others those guys become your buddies and you get the techs.

Leaching is an unfair advantage to any player who does it, which is no different then joint killruns or OAs or FAing players to the top through trade pacts. HE was reinstated because its not a clean and clear cut issue is what I heard.

Let the mods sort it out, where ever he ends up its a illegitimate score because he had aid to get there. No different then having friends buy your tech at 9500 5 min left in set to aid a players win. Purpled or not its not a respectable way to play the game and people have been deleted for lesser actions.

i got purpled for farming #122.

when i spied him he was on 9k land, 1.4m jets and 100k def. i wanted land but if i were to grab him once, he'll definitely 'retal' much later with his all jetter country. so i decided to farm him down. less land = less production = less chance of hitting me with an all jetter. of course i pumped some tanks after. does that make sense? :)

and if you check my news, thats when the topfeeding started on me... i'm only GUESSING, but i think #122 was either their buddy or their farmland. :)
