Maybe perhaps a small portion tried to integrate into the Singapore society and have successfully(?) done so.

Mostly because Singaporeans feel that we're are losing status in the social ladder.

Innocence is something we all forget. I haven't quite, I'm naive.

Every country has idiots. And we have a population of 94M. A portion of idiots still means a high number of idiots.
I wont be shocked if they could have bad experience with one.

But seeing these comments is just disgusting. They're making fun of the victims. Although, I have seen such comments from Chinese people towards Japan during the tsunami.

I still dont understand why I am not allowed the same status as my wife and children when I live in the Philippines. And pay taxes. While a 3rd generation pinoy in the u.s. who cant speak tagalog, talks bad about the country, never been to the Philippines, cant even find it on a map. Automatically are entitled to dual citizenship.

Where I live that's totally untrue actually. A fair portion of them are employed as nannies, housekeepers, or accoutants though.

My dad is former Navy and has nothing but great things to say about the Philippines. He loved it there. In fact he has always told me when he retired he wanted to move there, or to Laos.
