started in 2000, dont know how many years, its been off and on

2) Why did you start playing?
people at school played utopia, found earth while waiting to do stuff there

3) Why do you still play?

That is a good question, I do not know.

2) Why did you start playing? Friends that were playing made me play. Like took me hostage.

3) Why do you still play? It's an addiction. I am about to attend rehab for earth addicted players and oh friends I made here, though I am starting to make them all hate me ;)

2) I found the game in high school; some people at the lunch table were talking about it, and I joined up with them.

3) Because my Tamagotchi pet keeps on dying.
Mostly because I've made some good relationships with people who play this game. I also have discovered new interests from playing/chatting with people around here.

2. I use to hang out in a chat for "alternative music".....bush, pearl jam, STP.....crap like that. Someone came in and spammed the link so I followed it.

3. Maybe because I have been playing for so long.....I don't really know. It's like an addiction I can't shake.

3. The really great people I have met, alliances RED and EVO (although there were a few others), and addictive nature of the game and community interplay.

2) A friend was drinking beer at his place telling me he was about to attack some country in a game he was playing so I immediately signed up to back him up, missed about 3 weeks right after then remembered to log in only to see that iMagnum had killed our little 7 man tag except for me they crippled me down to 7 civs and a guy from MD helped me out and took me under his wing that set. It was a learnign experience.

3) I really enjoy seeing people I have become friends (and enemies) with over the years. I actually prefer playing the inter clan games like mafia and things more than the actual game of Earth lol

1) I think I started in 2009 if I remember correctly.

2)I went to university with qz, where he tried to recruit me numerous times and failed to do so, lol. A couple of years after moving away he tried to recruit me again, and I figured I would start playing as a way of keeping in touch.

3)As it happens, I actually like the game! I like the number crunching, the ruthless realpolitik, and have met some pretty cool people. When I am busy I can still play reasonably well on a small amount of time, it costs nothing, and now I feel some sort of loyalty or something to my fellow Evoers, so until that all changes, I am probably here for the long haul, haha.

2) Why did you start playing? -> I enjoy gaming... earth was my 2nd online gaming experience... first was some fluff mech warfare game I forget the name of.

3) Why do you still play? -> I can back in Dec 2012 because I was curious how the game developed since I last played. I currently play because it is still a fun game and now that I am in FR, I am getting to know people from more than just SoL. I enjoy the overall community, although there are always a few bad apples in it to purposely cause strife. I left TEQ years ago because those bad apples took over, bullied the entire server and made everyone leave. I hope to work on EE in my limited spare time to prevent that from happening here. There is no reason why we cannot kill each other with dignity and respect :)

1. 01-04ish, started again a few sets back

2. In computer lab during hs and a couple guys were playing it. I joined UCN with them and suicided on their countries. Stuck around after that because it was actually pretty fun.

3. People like Ruth and the game is pretty fun too.

The really funny thing about this game is it always feels like you've been playing a lot longer than you actually have. Even back in 98/99 people thought they had been playing for 6-8 years already when the game hadn't been around nearly that long.

1. Continuously since 1998, untagged at first.
2. Friend in Utopia asked me to try Ragnarok. Quit Utopia to focus on E2025 a few ages later.
3. Its more addicting than World of Warcrack. But all the friends of I have met here over the years keep me coming back every reset. And having Catchy back is awesome :)
