So, are any old Earth General Talk members around? I played Earth with some friends from school around 1998 and at that time became hooked on the EGT forum. I went by krispy and chuck505 on the boards then.

Is this an entirely new generation of EGTers? Who would have guessed a CGI-based game from the 90s would still have a community dedicated to it nearly 20 years later? Ach, what a world.

it's not a CGI game. hmm, maybe it was a cgi game, i forgot about it used to be used for html. it's php now. and most of the people who used to use EGT are probably busy botting OGT because they were Utopians.

I played 1999-2003 recently restarted and trying 2 get my mates to rejoin :) LDG was my clan but i only had school mates and we all sucked i used to just indy adn build no attacking but now i understand a bit better now :) good to know ppl i might have met playin this game might still b playin

Hi Chuck. I played when it was Mehul's mess...mid-90's, I guess, for about five years. I used "The Joker" on the boards and in the alliance. Began playing again a few weeks ago and trying to adjust to the changes. The guys have done a good job with rebuilding the game. Also, more people seem willing to help. Still have a few pricks though, but that is what makes the game a game.

Yep, I remember that. It was solaria when I began and I think food back then was like $3-$5 a bushel.

Gas was probably $1.25 for my truck. We should have know when food prices increased and we had to start buying oil in a game that the fuel prices were going to be crazy one day.

I joined in around 2000-2001 can't really remember i was in middle school at the time. I feel like the reason they made countries so much harder to kill was because of what me and my so called alliance used to do to people :)
