[EXTERNAL BUG] back button taking turns?

is this new? is this something wrong with my browser?
i did a spy on ally on a guy, failed, went and bought food, then hit the back button and suddenly, there was the spy on ally op sitting there even though i hadn't resubmitted the turn manually and had failed my last attempt. i don't think it used to do that. is this just me? also i think i ended up spying this guys allies like 4 times and had a food riot from clicking around the back and forward buttons investigating this

Yeah, I noticed this as well 3 straight days playing from my tablet (where I used the back and forward a lot more than on the laptop) and thought it was me just messing up. I must have had like 5 food riots the past few days.

I don't think I've had ops/actions resubmitted before by using the back button until the past couple days. Now that I think about it, I did see this happen a day or two ago also, but I didn't realize what or why it had happened. Also, today I hit the back button through the market page and a message came up about me not having enough money to make that purchase. I don't like this, I hit the back button to scroll through past pages all the time. Can I change a browser setting? Pick another browser? Hmm...

maybe you doubleclicked and 2nd click went thru but you didn't notice.

if its the back button, it's definitely not on our end -- could be your browser is re-submitting the form? most of the stuff is POST with a field so it shouldn't be pre-loading it I'd think

Yeah, when i spy oped, then hit back it emptied the number spot.

This previously happened to me at work, which is where i posted this thread from, but now it happened at home too (on a different machine). i took a successful spy op, took a successful spy on allies op, went to another page, then was hitting the back button to go look at the spy op and make calculations. except, as i hit back, i went past a failed spy on ally op, even though i'd never failed one the first time. that was a new turn being taken. this seems to happen for me specifically on the spy on allies page, is it possible there's something there causing this?

I've had it happen too, but only with Chrome.

Specifically when spying.

Lol, i dont use chrome, never have. But the back button problem is gone currently for me, forum wise.

Only issue i have had lately have been on EE. The key word highlights that were ads, the back button problem..all no longer happen.

the keywords ad stuff is not on our end, that's got to have been malware on your side; could have originated from google ads, but not from us anyway

So this isn't resolved? Why does it only happen on spy page? As in, why is it that when you go back to a spy page it re-spies the target. But if I go back on the build page, it doesn't rebuild? Or on the research page, it doesn't re-tech?

In theory it happens everywhere, if you use the latest version(s) of chrome.

I just tried it for fluffs and grins....

It does build if you do it like this:

Build a turn of buildings, build another turn, hit back, it re-submits the first turn you spent.

In other words.. DONT USE CHROME!

Lesson learned :(
