as an aside, weight loss = 90% diet, exercise on its own doesn't help much unless you do a *lot* of it (like 4-5 hours a day). Otherwise you just make yourself hungrier and you need to replace most of the calorie deficit created by the exercise to be able to keep doing it.. (some research actually shows that moderate exercise actually makes it harder to lose weight). Having said that the benefits to exercise are tremendous for a whole host of other reasons. (immune system boost, sex, life span, energy, bone structure, mental acuity etc etc).
