If you're playing techer it's best to only build Research Labs and construction sites, and some industrial complexes to produce spies.

Maybe you just got the other buildings from grabbing but keep in mind that the amount of tech per turn you can produce depends on how many labs you have but also on the percentage of your land that is build with labs.

Also, the best tax rate is 35%. That will give you the highest tax income which does make quite a difference even for non-cashers.

your BPT is way too high. 100bpt is right if you grow to 30k acres or so.

@Magellaan: Thanks, for some reason I hate seeing my income in the red, even if that's what it's supposed to be. Will convert them to Labs. Will drop taxes to see how it goes. Thanks dude.

@Andrew: What's the best BPT if I only want to have around 15K land max? 50?

I got those other buildings from grabs and from when I was just starting. First time playing but I knew not to rainbow. Thought I could rainbow a little but just have Labs outnumber the others by a large margin. I get the point, once I only have CS, Labs and Industrial Complex, though I get a horrendously negative income and food, TPT will probably skyrocket. Hope tech prices go high again.

ideal bpt = sqrt{(Total acres to buil * govtbonus)/4}

in this case, say root((15,000 * 1.4)/4) = 72bpt

He's a theocracy, one of the best techer governments, so the bpt calculation is slightly different.

100 bpt is about 268 CS or so, which means its ideal for about 26.8k acres

For a 15k acre landgoal, 77 bpt from 200 CS is about right as a theocracy.

I believe that 200CS is one of those sweet spots that the rounding actually gives you a 2BPT gain . i.e 197 CS is 75 BPT, but 200CS is 77BPT.

So Rockman is right on.

Are you saying 199CS wouldn't give you 76?

I know for theos there are spots where a 3CS increase = a 2BPT increase. And I believe that is at each 100 mark.

The formula I have is BPT=FLOOR((CS/4+5)*1.4,1).

So 197 = 75BPT, 198 = 76BPT, 200 = 77BPT. As a Theo's BPT increments in 3's you would expect it to increase at 198,201,204...but every so often it increments by 2. That's the "sweet spot"
