CI hasn't won but it doesn't suck either. You got to know how to property play it but I believe slagpit had a nice finish once with a CI.

You're not going to be top 10 or anything but you could easily be top 25 as a CI if you were so inclined to do so.

market is crappy most of set so no big bucks but instead solid income with few peaks when wars start.

Yeah 200m+ has been done with commies. I think it's usually better to destock as a commie boltar.

Myself, Oden, Azn, Bonesaw have all broke 200m plus with Commies. It's a hard strat but a lot of fun. The trick to a commie destock is land land and more land. Switching to a theo to destock as a commie would never work as you will not have accumulated enough bushels stocked like the other strats. You run turns until your production falls behind your expenses. Then you purchase the rest and that's that.

5 Ponti 572 96,306 acres $226,222,178 CG 2349 Neofed
10 Walls Of Stalingrad 177 85,383 acres $211,733,835 C 2480 Neofed

Set before.
2 AzN 172 85,302 acres $237,071,565 CG 2779 NeoFed

Not sure which set was Odens but as you can see good scores not great but all really fat

If you think Commie Indy is hard, try playing a techstart MBR.

And CIs are a ton of fun when expenses hit -40mil/turn. Because that means you're destocking.

CI is an interesting strat to play if you have the time to sell mil 3-4x daily to keep expenses down when you are running turns

Expenses are not the problem, and with the commie bonus, you don't need to sell 3x a day to keep expenses down. However you played commie indy, you did it horribly horribly wrong.
