IF SOMEBODY HATED PDM ENOUGH TO DO THIS, THEN IF A BUNCH OF PDM MEMBERS QUIT OVER IT, IT WOULD BE JUST WHAT THE PDM-HATER WANTED. INSTEAD OF QUITTING, YOU SHOULD DOUBLE YOUR RECRUITMENT EFFORTS :)

apparently just pdm got hacked since no1 else has said anything.

if this was done by a person maliciously i'm going to have to seriously reconsider even playing a country next set

it's silly to have all of your hard work and efforts knocked out by some fartknocker.

Was it only the user accounts and not any forum data that was deleted? If so and if it turns out to be a malicious event, please don't quit. Sounds like a pretty pathetic job of fluffing someone over if that's all they did. Don't give in to terrorists Tan!

I just restored an old backup of the users. it's a bit dated, so the senate will need to rework the users/permissions to align with what we had.

Some hacking went on. One of the senate-level accounts was compromised, and deleted all user accounts before deleting itself. Pang is investigating.

Some accounts have been restored, but many members will need to reapply, which means all their previous info, post counts...etc are lost.

It doesn't seem that any site content was deleted.

Sam and Locket: we get your points, but for me personally, this is simply a symptom of how badly this game has degeenerated. It reflects the prevailing "win at all costs and by any means neccessary" that too many people and alliances in this game have. Basically it's a spill over from the ingame bullfluff. The politics have degenerated from subtle machinations to petty grudge wars and he said she said name calling bs, and there's no sense of honour, decency or fair play anymore.
