They probably won't have offensive allies, and not sure why you'd AB them but the game won't let you if they're in GDI.

As long as you don't double-tap+ folks then all's fair. If someone RoR's then it's missile go/personal vendetta time. I've never netter here so can't help in that category.

what are typical land goals for people?

You can't do special attacks to nor from GDI members, if you want to randomly AB, don't join GDI and have at it, land goals depend on strat, go to eestats and look up passed sets to get an idea :)

GDI offers you protection against all special attacks ( and harmfull spy ops ).

If you break GDI ( doubletap, 2 x harmfull spy ops ) the other country can FS you any time. You can`t use speciall attacks on him until he makes 2 attacks on you - so bassically when you double tap expect a missle FS + some abs.

Land goal is somewhere around 15k - but there are some folks around who use DR in order to cheat their way out of retals.

Still, admins took a good approach last set and they are going to delete those kind of cheaters in the future.

The game is nice - way better than the mess in 1 A.

doesn't protect you from all harmful ops. they can still steal tech, bomb banks, burn oil, and burn bushels, and you can't use harmful ops at all unless the opposing country has committed 2 acts of aggression

You can Bomb banks and Steal tech even with GDI, the rest is off limits til GDI is broken.

so if i double tap someone, does that mean GDI is broken for everyone? or just that country

No, in that case, only B can FS A. If a country breaks GDI vs another country, GDI is ONLY broken between those 2 countries (and one of them can't do special attacks until the other one does another lg or 2 special attacks/harmful ops.

In that case B has the FS on A.
A can't FS B ( GS/BR/AB/missles/harmfull ops ) untill B makes 1 more "hit/harmfull op" on A.

"B grabs A + the above mentioned hit" = 2 hits = GDI broken for B too.

Other countries has nothing to do with this. They can only SS/PS but if they do that more than once you have the FS uppercut.

There is one other GDI rule, Chevs:

In the last 6 hours of the reset, if you are in GDI, you may not attack any country that has not attacked you before (at least once).

This prevent last minute suicides from a country hiding in GDI. Countries not in GDI can still attack you (PSes and SSes).

GDI basically dictates 1:1 retals with the window lasting the duration of the set (ORKIN-style). If you get grabbed early on, you can wait a day or two until the mark is much bigger and nail them back for 20x or more what they took with one hit. Sure, they might RoR, but as soon as they do the doors are open for special attacks.

No you can`t - not with me for example.

I accept retals only within 24 hours period. I take mine in that time too.

Alin, he's saying that if you decide to RoR someone that decided to wait until after 24 hours to take a retal, your set is finished. It doesn't matter what YOU accept.

LOL! I know for a fact that when I do retal late, I make sure I can respond properly to a RoR ;)
