Since there are few targets, it seems like that the new way to gain land to have top NW countries is to fs an alliance that is 2/3rd your size. Most of their strength will be killed in the first few hours. After that, just farm and keep on killing at a slower rate and you will have tons of land with minimal chance of repercussion.

That might be good for the current reset, but soon a consensus of fair minded alliances will just gangbang you into the dust.

That is, when they don't pact out to selfishly netgain.

Yes, this isn't exactly new. There used to be war and net-alliances and now you have wargaining. Although realistically, you need to be the top dog to pull it off and you better make sure you stay top dog. Also, some of your members won't survive, but you can label them casualties of war while you farm the other guy into oblivion.

It's a mighty taxing way to do it though. You make lots of enemies and if you ever slip or let your guard down you're fluffed. It puts a lot of demands on leadership.

LaF prefers to gain their land in the traditional means.

We are just making the best of the situation due to a few alliances undermining the peace deals we typically need to netgain in our preferred way, as well as our promised obligations to our loyal allies :P
