Angel doesn't want to post results to his question 2, so I've made one of my own. Results will be posted once I have 100 respondents or within 5 business days, whichever comes first.

For the purpose of the right hand column, ignore the "and I wish they would leave." Assume it simply says "I hate them." I realize that it's possible to dislike an alliance yet recognize the value of them remaining as part of the game making that a pretty loaded option.

This is a different question before. This one is about how much you like an alliance, not your view on whether or not they are good for the game.

detmer, i'm pretty sure that for the majority of responders, it's going to come down to the same thing :P

Yeah, but this is the more fun question. For the other you can make the case (and I have) that people might vote favourably for an alliance's impact on the game despite disliking the alliance generally. Mine gets right down to the meat and potatoes.

I think Angel should feel obligated to post the results. Is there any particular reason why he should see them but not everyone? The results are based on answers provided by the community, so why are the results restricted to a single individual?

Wow. Since the SoF war on PDM there have been 10-13 responses. SoF went from being 42% "I like them a lot" as their highest category to 30% "I hate them" as their highest category. 40% (16) of respondents view PDM in the most favourable light. Other quick glances after 40 - SAMCRO, Muppets and RD (and now SoF) are generally disliked. People are indifferent on RAGE and Dordt College. TIE, Sanct and LCN are leaning positive. The rest have strong support.

I'll post full results in a couple days or once 60 more have answered.

SOL LaF and Evo are better liked than Sanct and LCN? Surprising...

Laf Sol and Evo are amongst the bigger clans. I do find it odd that one of them isnt hated though considering I would be surprised if a large amount of any of them would not put hated up.

hawkeyee, I would take your results with a grain of salt. The results are skewed by the allegiances of the people that took your poll.

That is, even if you have 100 respondents, the sample size is too small to accurately reflect the general EE feel. For example, if 80% of the people who took your poll are from PDM, then obviously the results are skewed for certain alliances like SoF.

Xinhuan, you showed up a little late for the party. I have no intention for these results to be taken with anything less than a tablespoon of salt.

However, since this survey is posted in a place that is accessible to all who read AT it's unlikely that I will end up with that big of a skew in favour of one alliance. Given a population size of ~800 (the number of countries in alliance) then a randomly chosen sample of 100 would give me results that are accurate within ~9% 95% of the time.
