A Great Saturday afternoon is having a Cold Blue Moon and listening to BTO & Deep Purple...

sad part is being old enough to remember seeing bands/people like J.Walsh too drunk to stand on stage but still somehow screaming out Lifes been Good at Red Rocks and not falling over.

I Lock the doors in case I'm attacked ..."oh well another Blue Moon"........

Joe Walsh. Rock Legend.

Life's Been Good was recorded in the late 1970's I think.

BTO (Bachmann Turner Overdrive) was an offshoot of the Canadian '60's band the Guess Who. Classic semi-metal rock.

Deep Purple in its original configuration was a product of the Late 60's/Early 70's Rock genre.

That you do not know is disturbing, Popcorn. ;)

i have herd smoke on the water. lol

In my defense, if these songs came out in the 60s and 70s, it would make sense that i dont know them. I was born in the mid 80s :P

Never listened to classic rock really. I do like a lot of it...but then there's a lot i think is way over rated lol

I,M with MUFASA > I AM IRON MAN YEAH the good old days when doobies flowed though the stands like water and all you had to do was move to the top section of the coliseum and you get get high on second hand smoke by just walking past. Everyone there had a pint in their pocket and a pack of smokes loaded with half mary jane and half malboros. And No one screwed with you either. If they even attempeted to arrest anyone the fight was on and the cops got tossed out of the stands by the fans so they never said a word as long as the music was playing.

When I was a limo driver, back in the late 70's, I was shuttling BTO back and forth between Philly, Atlantic City and Wildwood but they broke up on that tour and left 3 rooms full of equipment behind. Of course, the company I worked for at the time, got stiffed for the tab. I only wished they'd "take care of business". ;) Joe Walsh, Lifes Been Good, is definitely a classic you listen to over and over without getting tired of it. Back in 1960 my uncle took me to the Cafe Lena in Saratoga to hear an unknown star perform on the coffee house circuit. The star turned out to be one of the greatest of all time by the name of Bob Dylan.

I was born in 1973, so a lot of the groups I grew up listening to were Black Sabbath (with and without Ozzy), Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who, Nazareth, Duran Duran, Iron Maiden and the like.

Actually, I'm getting disability. Took a fall from the loading dock and landed on the concrete pad with my right shoulder. Tore 3 ligaments and the rotator cuff so bad that the only option left is total shoulder replacement.
