Most of the guys who suicide just self-delete immediately after before we get a chance to get any land back so we've been forced to make precautionary measures and take them out before they get a chance to hit. Some innocents may die in the crossfire.

It's a tough line, especially this set where it seems like the suiciders have been much worse.

I think blindly killing all untags is generally a bad idea, but I've been watching for certain patterns and if some innocent person ends up running a country that looks similar to the ones that have suicided on us so far, I'll probably end up killing it.

TKO has suiciders for a very specific reason.

This set suiciders are hitting everyone at random, I would say there is a difference

Yes, it would hurt new players. But how to reach new players and make then understand that they need a clan to play FFA. (Maybe the name Free For All is misleading).

I don;t know if TKO has done anything to deserve suiciding, but in general, if you're the "big" clan on the server, you're a target. This set, everyone's a target, so I agree with mrford, the suiciding is far worse. That's why I'm glad to be in PAN, where we can play 2nd fiddle to TKO in TNW and avoid all the suiciders.

I remember in the couple sets I was with LaE, they had suiciders like you have, because they were the big dog of the server.

That's just the way it goes when you're the biggest netting clan on the server.

I think it makes perfect sense for all untags to be farm/killed by established clans. If anything it will boost clan numbers. People will join up or they will quit. Making FFA a better server. Win/Win

Maybe someone arrange a massive war chat? 20-30 players killing untags? I would be in....

Normally I'm not one to say things like this, but ultimately this is an alliance type server. If you want to play solo, Primary, Express and Tournament are there for you to do so.

FFA, Alliance and Team aren't designed for individual players, and ingame messaging the suiciders "We're going to kill you" just gives them incentive to attack right now.

The original message is more just to let other alliances know that we're going to target suspicious looking untagged countries moreso than to let the untagged countries know.

Ultimately, on an alliance/clan server, don't run untagged countries that have 100,000 tanks and no other military if you want to live. That screams out "I'm trying to mess up someone else's set."

Besides, other clans have done this in the past few sets (TKO, LaE way back) and seemingly the game has been growing since the current guys took over. Clearly we're not scaring away all these new players.

Venum. Typically untags would be left alone for at least 7-10 days. That is plenty of time for a new player to learn a bit about the game, alliances and msg people in game.

Again, FFA is an alliance server. There are lots of other game types for new players who are learning. I do not think a brand new player would want the responsibility of 16 countries before they know anything about the game.

7-10 days is not so long if they start after the set is started and are behind everyone else.

Killing all untagged countries will not help with suiciders since a suicider who really wants to do damage will just message a one man tag and join them until they launch their attacks. They will ultimately end up getting the other guy killed too, but if they are suiciding anyway what would they care.

All tanks with heavy spies is an okay defense if you do not plan on warring since it gives you strong offense to grab and defense at the same time from retals.

Sorry that you are getting suicided on, but killing all untags is just wrong.

Well so you's know all my countrys are in the clan Netting, tag Net....already been killed once because I didnt come on here and post that I was clan Anon...hoped my clan name would clarify anything too :)
I am learning and have no intentions to attack anyone. I like the fact I can play 16 countries and try slightly different strats so in the other games that I can only choose 1, I choose the one I liked most and did best with in here. I don't know how bad your suiciding is...only had it done to me once on express and they said it was because I was already at war with someone and just an easy kill target.

so if you kill the ones who are not, you will just create more.
this has been proven about 39842439084320983209 times over the history of the game..not to mention its fairly obvious.
