Just started playing again after like 6 years, after like 4 days i have two guys from laf declare war and hit me like 10 times a piece. Are there any easy to join clans for a little protection? Thought it would be fun to get back into this game, but i dont wanna get farmed for no reason anymore. Any suggestions?

thanks for the suggestions guys, so is laf just a bunch of fluffs? cause picking on an untagged for land is one thing, but the dude was getting like 20 acres a pop and still kept going.

Land is hard to come by nowadays.
Most alliances are capable of retalling where as an untag will get farmed to death practically without being able to.
At NA however, we do not farm untaggs. Check our news

Seems like a silly policy, if i was a new player id probably just quit after logging onto that mess. You would think you would want more players to get into the game.

Pretty much any alliance will farm someone who is untagged as this is a team server. There are individual servers like primary where it is easier to play without any help than on alliance. However, this is the best server to learn the game.

You have to ask yourself a question. Do you want to kill or do you want to grow huge countries?

If you want to kill I might suggest joining Sof if they post a link.

If you want to net then you should join the guys hitting you! ;)

This is the alliance server, there is no mercy for untagged countries. Every alliance farms untags, easily 8-10 times in a row. Either join an alliance, or get farmed. Or play on the other servers that are designated for solo players, such as Primary or Express or Tournament.

Just to be clear, laf isn't the only alliance that does it, every alliance does. Check the news.

u'll find we don't bite, however unfortunate it may seem to try and win u need to play aggressively and unfortunately the untagged players wear the brunt of people trying to finish as high as possible on this server.

We don't farm little trees for fluffty gains, we hit people with more/equal land than us for great gains :) (outrunning retals if possible :) )

fearvendor, if you haven't already joined an alliance already, do you know what you're looking for in an alliance? Certain alliances definitely specialize in different things. I.e. some are good for netting exclusively (and excel at it), some are fantastic at warring (and different kinds of wars, too, depending on your preference), some do both. Some stay out of politics, some are in the heart of it.

I'd encourage doing a little research and asking a few questions about alliances if you're interested!

I agree .. to a point IF country has not been hit in last 24 hrs then farming 8 - 10 hits is fine upon untagged in an alliance server. However, there is fine balance between playing to have fun and playing while trying to not run people away in droves either.

It was also posted in this thread about farming for 20 acres per hit. THIS for example to me is just stupid and will do nothing but drive people away no matter what server. After accounting for any loses and getting 10 acres per turn (20 acres/2 turns) you might as well be exploring for 7 acres per turn and not causing any political negative dissension. Its different if that country did something to deserve it of course.

You can pretty much join anyone and you will get instant tag protection. I've kind of determined that everyone wants as many members as they can possible get. Some people just recruit much more heavily than others.
