Dear Imp,

First…you poke your head around last set when Rockman hit you, you gave word to some people you were going to hold us responsible. We weren’t afraid to tell you that wasn’t happening. YOU came to ME for a renewal at the beginning of the set. I said sure, no problem, you then asked me who was in our clan and proceeded not to reply for multiple days, I took it as you didn’t want to renew and THEN I get word your plans were to kill the clan where Rockman and Llaar were. That was Elysium. You knew they were with us, THEN asked us for special terms a few days later, most likely after you knew we were going to kill you. Well…here’s your answer. Elysium refuses your special terms.

Yes…we know you’ll hate us for awhile. See you on the battlefield

Elysium declares war on IMP. Please place both on DNH.

if you wanted to war, just say it. you have no reason other than that and it's unfair to IMP and the rest of us for you to make up random controversy. if you wanted to pact IMP, they'd obviously made an effort multiple times but this is always about Ely wanting to test its ability to war and a 100 less country IMP as a result became your target.

Wow. 125 more countries and you still need the FS. You kept asking for a friendly. You could have at least set it up for a mutual FS. I hope Rockman is worth it. Do you think IMP is going to let this fly? Expect war with IMP for resets.

Bleh i'm just frustrated. Last set we lost to CC in a good war, then were gb'd by multiple tags who had stocked all set. Now somehow we have been dragged into war with one of the clans I actually respected in a war where they will earn 0 respect.

I thought ELY would be the next TKO, maybe even Semper... but now. Laughable.

Just had to get the FS on a tag with 125 less countries huh? You should be able to kill 65 countries with a FS. That is half our clan. What is the point?

Fyi, neither Rockman OR llaar had anything to do with the dec. It was my decision. They didn't know the target til very recently. Not that ANY of you care :)

IMP has never had a problem warring netting tags half their size now it's unfair that they have to war a netting tag twice their size. I'm sure imp has allies that can help, no?

ELY has been labeled friend on IMP's sites up until a few hours ago. I just cannot figure out what we did to warrant a DOW.

I know this... you will get yours sometime. Probably will not be from IMP, but now you labeled for hitting tags half your size. So when Semper, NBK, TKO goes looking for a fight you will be right at the top of the list.

Not quite. The analogy breaks down because a real exterminator still has to kill the bugs, even if they play dead. When IMP plays dead and hides behind humanitarians, I'm content to declare victory, even with IMP not completely dead.

I barely even knew Ely existed before this much less have any dislike for them. I do wish you would have had some sort of actual reason for this war though, I don't remember the word ELY even being posted on the IMP boards for months previous to today.

I figured imp was planning to hit us or cc this set so I'm kinda happy ely hit. even though you guys kinda deserve it I would have rather seen them hit someone else also like maybe xi, not because I want xi dead cause I do like them but it woulda made it more fair.
