Compared to other fuels natural gas isn't that bad though. Coal however is one of the worst. Its too bad we can't produce enough propane to meed our needs instead.

If you wish to go to the public library for books (like I sometimes do), then authors like Bookchin, Proudhon, Bakunin, and Chomsky are some good ones to look for.

I apologize if you take insult but I don't find you any more informed than the typical poster on these boards. I've been around the block for many years but I would not dare be so presumptuous as to claim to be an expert on any political view regardless of how many books I have read.

If you are a published author, teacher or widely recognized expert on the subject I apologize. However I assume you are not and often I see people who think they are an expert because they have a little knowledge. That can be worse than someone who is ignorantly bliss. So I'm gonna call you out.

Obama is by far the worst president ever. And no i didn't vote for him but i had high hopes for him. I also did not vote for McPalen. While he is not solely responsible for this depression he is responsible for making a bad situation, caused by Bush, far worse. I agree i will take way more than 8 years to fix the damage Obumer has caused. He got elected cause Bush was horrible and the republicans ran a weak candidate. We didn't want anything close to Bush so Obumer won.

When your going back to the last 3 presidents saying thsy sux- that also includes Ragan. I think most Americans would say he was a great president. The world operates on oil. Period. Business is a byproduct of oil. You've seen it for yourselves. A byproduct of oil, like gasoline can raise OVERNIGHT because of higher barrels of oil. Yet, no one figures in the New Oil Prices to the Gas already produced, it just gets fixed in to the new price. INSTANT RISE..and slow decline of oil prices is what is fluffing up everything. fluff....CNN showed a graph one time of how the effect of Oil prices being raised and falling affected the common American...it was almost a straight line that kept raising constantly.

Everyone gets screwed by sudden rices on oil prices (everyone but the Oil companies that buy millions of barrels at $90 and a week later sell it for $104).


And Oil doesn't decay so don't try to bull fluff to protect them.

Not to mention the supply is artificially cut short. Many oil producing countries are purposefully producing a lower quantity of oil to manipulate the market price.

Just think about this though. Without oil where would the middle eastern countries be? They have nothing but sand so without oil they hurt much more than anyone.
