The column "Asking" in the market is the top price someone has a standing order out at, correct? Technically this is a bid. Should probably read Bidding.

The "Best Price" is actually the current Asking price.

Asking = selling at X.
Bidding = willing to pay Y.

true

perhaps i'll change it after discussing with pang/slag & our resident economics sort of guy... martian

Though "Bidding" looks to be about 5px wider than "Asking"

perhaps "Bid"

and the other thing would it be possibile to get an idea of the buy size
as those who price their goods for a quick auto buy and sell 1 unit to a order are probably pissed @{

maybe do it so it takes a turn otherwise it could be an advantage

I'm with VIPx ... ask is definitely the wrong terminology.

Ask is what the seller wants
Bid is what the Buyer is willing to pay
nothing to see here ... move along
