Carolina will drag Duke like you have never seen. Our freshmen have been playing extremely well, and now that we have gotten rid of that dead weight turnover machine Larry Drew II, we are a completely different team.

UNC and Duke are literally 7 miles apart. They play atleast 2 times a year, are tied for ACC championships and are among the 2 best programs in NCAAM history win wise.

I'm from IL, so my opinion is that Illinois, and either Wisconsin, or Ohio State are the greatest Rivalry in the NCAA.. they may not have the greatest records.. but the games themselves are Legen.... wait for it.... Dary

Look at the recent nationwide polls. Only thing that comes close to duke Carolina is Ohio St and Michagin.

I have never heard if a rilvary including Illinois

I'm not talking about consistancy of skill. Although duke and Carolina kinda hold the last 2 national titles, 3 of the last 6, and a combined 10 total. If you really wanna go down that road we can.

Junky's claim about #1 and #2 seeds is def. not true. Teams with those seeds lose in the second round all the fluffing time. Like more than two a year on average I bet. Off the top of my head I want to say Wake Forest and Kansas both lost as two seeds IN THE FIRST ROUND in the last 10 years... (but I could def. be wrong about that)

Not Maryland

as a 20 seed against the team that was the #1 seed most of the year, it was a great game

UNC played a SHUTDOWN first half. Curry decided to wake up in that seccond half and Smith had 35 flippin points for duke. He carried their asses.

They won't be in the top 5 for long. I'm proud at how far UNC has come since losing 3 of their first 7.

they will be top 5, who is gonna beat them the rest of the season? Only two real tests left with @ VT and @ UNC. They would have to lose both IMO or lose one and first round exit from ACC tourny to fall out of the top 5 before the regular season ends (and not get a 1 seed for the tourny)...

that said I think their team is weak as hell. If Curry/ that other 3 point shotting benchwarmer get on a roll (like they did at Maryland) of course they can beat anybody sure, but I think in reality they are barely a top 15 team this year.

UNC is decent this year. With Barnes going to the NBA tho where will you be next year.

Have you even been paying attention to him this year? He is streakey as fluff and has onlyturned it on the last 2 or 3 games. Unless he closes the season out HARD he won't be going anywhere.

And even if he did, I'd take our 2011 recruting class over barnes any day. I'd be way more concerned over losing seller and Henson rather than barnes
