So how many of you all are still with the same TAG?
Same people in new tag name don't count...
Let's be fair...Which tag has survived the first 12 months?

I am in IMP

Same tag but only third reset (ever) playing FFA. Warring with 16 countries is definitely different than warring with only one. Adds an interesting dimension to the traditional Alliance player.

Well if we are talking ee then NBK was on the council server for the first set(or two?) Before ffa started and we've been here every set, and we've gained quite a few new members even tho we've warred every set.

I have only ever played FFA under one tag... Although that will probably become two at the end of this set as I join an existing clan. I just tagged this set to see if I could remember what I was doing around here. I started late, but I seem to be doing not bad, on the netting side of things anyway.

I played the first set with LaE, jumped ship midway through set two with the cheating scandal and made my own tag, TIE, for the end of the set, and have been with PANLV ever since.

As far as I can see, you've been a good boy since that 2nd set, DM. People who won't drop things that are really old news just need to get over it.

Another fun thing is to look back at the strongest alliances and see which ones aren't even around anymore:

(Listed in order of 1st set TNW):

1) LaE: Sort of still exists, as KA.
2) Dynasty: Gone when Skystormers retired.
3) RoCK: Gone after set 1. (I'm guessing the Hellrush revival of RoCK was a different group?)
4) AoDT: Seemingly got sick of continual wars with NBK and gone.
5) SYN: Beat down by LaE in 2nd set and never returned.
6) IPU: Not sure who they are, but they disappeared.
7) ROME: One set here, too.
8) PanLV: Very small in that first set (49 countries), but still exists.
9) ABC: If I recall correctly, this is basically the predecessor to FoCuS. So basically they do still exist.
10) NYG07: One-man tag, apparently a Giants fan. Tag was gone in 2nd set.

And 10th in Membership, but further down the list due to war:

NBK: Still exists, probably the one alliance that is as close to the same now as it was at the beginning, as a large warring alliance.

And not in the top 25 TNW: IMP (Due to war)

So seemingly, from set one:

Only 3 of the 11 alliances listed above exist as is: PANLV, NBK, and IMP.

3 more alliances could be argued that they're the same outside a name change (Very definitely for ABC/FoCuS, more questionable with LaE/KA, but they're basically the same central group, and IPU, which was the TKO guys).

7 more alliances don't exist at all.

Meanwhile:

Warster-
Beo was there too.

Ill try to get my roomie to paly again. hes against the whole taking time to play a text based game tho haha.

But yah IPU was a bunch of TKOers. We were going to make TKO but didnt want to half ass it so held it off till the next set... when i went inactive and warster went to AoDT and Troy went to WILD so TKO ended with my 15 inactive countries and beos half palyed one lol.

TKO fully came into effect in set 4. 1 we were IPU 2 inactive/wilf/aodt set 3 no tag set 4 we were back.
