closed resets everyone had a few hundred extra unplayed to use as restarts anyway

and if you didn't... well that was your fault

Closed sets were always interesting for that reason. It actually was possible to get a true tag kill in those days, but it always sucked if you got into an OoP war and died in the first 10 days of the set.
