If you constantly bring the goldfish out of water, and then put it back just as it is half dead, and do it to a couple million of them at the same time, and have them reproduce more goldfishes, and do it for a couple million generations, I think it would be potentially possible.

Graham doesn't claim to know the truth any more than anyone else, he is just a journalist, but I think he makes a good argument that challenges the current mainstream theories and maybe starts a conversation that we may have got it wrong.

It's pretty egotistical to think that we're the only "advanced" civilization since the ice age, this planet has been able to sustain life for hundreds of millions of years, that is undisputed add to that the fact that in the last 100 years our technological advances have been great and it leaves me thinking, what if....what if there was a far more advanced civilization than ours and they got wiped off the map by a cataclysm leaving few pockets here and there with survivors.....it will happen again, let's say it happens today, 95% of life as we know it gets wiped out, out of the 5% remaining...how many are capable of surviving the chaos, certainly won't be city slickers, the best suited people to survive are those in remote areas living off the grid, our technology wouldn't mean fluff and wouldn't get carried over to next generations... repopulate with survivors.

There is evidence of previous advanced civilization, the pyramids are starring at your face, we didn't have the tools to build them at the time they are claiming they got built, you know how much energy is needed to move millions of tons of rock 500 miles? No scarring of the landscape? Perfect drill holes on granite? Perfect alignment to true north and precision placing of stones that' are nearly impossible to duplicate with today's tech? Come on!

Also they're discovering more pyramids across almost every continent built using similar techniques, a cataclysm can come in different forms, some from above and can obliterate anything leaving nothing but ashes
