im in a very close race with Vern. They can't go to waste.

I know your numbers cause since a few sets you always had the first 16 countries. This set you created them at the same time as raging Buddha. So it was easy to see #1-#4 were yours, now we had to find the other countries.
Playtimes and the ranking of your countries on the sever made it an easy job. Do you know Donny that after a 'x' amount of turns in the set your countries are always around 'x' networth? Last set I allready told Whooze about that. You are using the same start up over and over again.
So we don't need a spy to know your countries.

also, upon our FS last set, we said in IRC that we will lose, and we said,"this will be a long set". and how much this will suck.

Even with the FS, the Ares, NBK, xICDx war was pretty even in alot of ways, and was a good fight.
Back in the old days, if there was a declaration and NBK, Ares and ICD wanted to duke it out for say 2 weeks, When the war was over, anyone that jumped in Would have been attacked by all 3 clans sending a message to learn some respect, which kept the integrity. I for one appreciated that as a player because the game is full of all sorts of jackwagons that sit behind a keyboard and play out their small fluff syndrome in the game.

They way this game is played anymore, spies really dont matter.
You can continue to feed the information all you want, eventually everyone is going to get hit, over and over anyway. Then the next set it will start over again, who cares if the other clan has your country numbers.

That's the biggest load of crap I have ever heard. I was literally in a skype call with devol 20 minutes before and all throughout your entire FS and I told him several times it was going to be a pure slaughter for you guys. All you had to do was pact us to make us think we are netting (to get our spals down, war techs down, and to see which of our countries we were FA'ing to the top 10) then after the FS it was like you set our countries back by weeks. Like whooze said, you wanted to humiliate, and that was your plan from the day you pacted us. By the time we could even convert countries to war countries, they would die. In a way though, I think you set NBK back on the right path. I know some netters eventually joined/merged with them and we would often push for peaceful sets and we were becoming a bit lazy.. We certainly aren't going to net for a long ass time after what happened last set though.

We didn't plan to hit you last reset. That is why we pacted you. We had that same pact for the better part of the last year and half.

If Whooze thinks that was our plan all along, he is wrong.

You know I thought about it, but that is why I consulted you first, since you know him well. To me it did look like there was enough evidence to warrant consideration. But after talking with you I decided not to. And you sure as hell know I wouldn't have a problem putting my name on it if I was the one. I am not sure if whooze thinks that or not. But I do. I think CC members wanted something to brag about but at the same time, they knew if they had actually said "hey were warring you whether you like it or not in 2 weeks, so convert your netters", they would have lost. So yeah, I think it was planned from the beginning of the set. That is after all, how you got us to play riskier low SPAL, war tech, and military levels. LOL had CC not pacted us, there is no way in hell any of us would have played our countries like we did. You guys knew that, and that's why we got the pact.

You had the pact for almost a year and a half. Before KSM merged I think.

There was about 1 week that we knew we were going to war and that was it. It was posted on FFAT that we were going to at that time. We didn't even know WHO we were hitting until ~25 hrs before we actually did.

Actually, our first attempt of an FS, only 3 people showed up. So we moved it back 24 hrs.

I definitely agree there. Like I said though, in a way it was good for NBK to get caught off guard. I know I had been getting pretty lazy in FFA, hell I hadn't even set highlights for a couple sets in row. The only reason I even knew we were getting hit was because devol said in our skype chat "watch the fireworks colo" so I was sitting there like a dumb ass excitedly awaiting to see who the hell they were even going hit. Even though it wasn't a fun war for us (which I probably shouldn't even say us, since I did virtually nothing), it really did light a fire under our collective ass. IMO it put NBK back on the right path. It made us focus, and it definitely got us excited for this set.



Mdevol, not sure I can be persuaded otherwise on this one. It's clear that stats are very important to a lot of the players we are facing. Hell I have seen more boasting and player stats being posted on forums then I have ever cared to see. "here is your stats colo, and here are mine", "oh everybody, look at my stats I am top 10 in x amount of categories". Can I ever prove it was CC's intention to pact us and get us to net, so they can blindside us later for those stats and "bragging rights"? No. I will say it sure does seem like it. Am I reading to much into this? Perhaps. But this IS a strategy game right?? I can easily say whatever strategy you came to the table last set with, worked absolutely perfectly. No denying that one.

first of all, I recall focus coming to your aid when the whole thing with nbk and aodt began, our prize for that was being jumped not long after, to which to guys in nbk assisted us. Afterwards Focus had it's own battles to deal with, a couple times brought on by nbk deciding they were bored.
