Forgotten, your above statistics are meaningless without normalization and context.

For example: 2 clans that are EQUALLY good, but Clan A has twice as many members as Clan B, then Clan A would be expected to put out twice as many top10 or top 100 finishes compared to Clan B.

Another Example: 2 clans are equally good at netgaining. But Clan A has had 8 netgaining resets while Clan B only has had 4 netgaining resets. Clan A is expected to put out twice as many top 10 or top 100 finishes compared to Clan B if they are truely of equal skill.

That is, you need to normalize your statistics to something more meaningful "number of top X finishes per 10 members per netting reset".

I spent more time on a spreadsheet last night.

Both LaF and EVO has been in wars for the 13 sets in EE, LaF more often than EVO.

If you count the total number of countries each side had netgaing, it would be about the same amount, and LaF has better top end finish than EVO. So the 'we are smaller' argument is false. It's true that the alliance is 'smaller'. But over the long run, the amount of countries that had a chance to netgain, is ~20 away from each other over 13 resets, and EVO is ahead.

I'm not really biased, I just want to punch in the numbers, and they tell the story that I assumed at the very top.

EVO is more consistent in having all explore finishes
LaF has more top end finishes.

Want to be average? Join EVO.
Want to be the best? Join LaF.

Forgotten: Here is another challenge (not trying to make more work, actually interested)...

How many of those t10 or t5 finishes for LaF were done by new members who joined LaF after EE started up and who had never had a t10 or t5 finish before?

The reason I'm asking, is because at the end you assert that LaF can teach new players (or players who tag over) how to be #1. I want to know if that has actually happened, or is it the same (awesome, btw) LaF players always getting those finishes while new LaF members just fill out the tag and get more "average" NW finishes?

That would measure "teaching" done by LaF, which could then be compared to "teaching" done by EVO.

I have never finished above 40m in E2025, i played since the tag system started.

i was in a mini netgain tag that, well, just had to do retals all day and night.

I joined LaF in EE, first netting set, I finished 11th, in set #2. I got a t10 a couple sets later.

There have been recruits that are totally new to this game, and have successfully LEARNED to get to 160m finish themselves within the first 3 sets. I'm sure they are on their way to t10 finishes in time.
