In the spirit of Egypt, France, has sent in massive waves of armed men (machetes) on Camels to stabilize the ground fighting in Lybia. This Camel charge will be like no other. There will be rivers of blood in the streets of Lybia (there will also be mounds of crap). Many will die, unless you, Muammar Gaddafi surrender.

The only reason i am making this post is because i know Muammar Gaddafi is also an Earther. I also know how impressive the Camel Charge in Egypt was and that is the only way to intimidate him and bring this fighting to a fast close. BTW- Muammar Gaddafi plays under the name of BoneSaw.

That and even if WW3 wasn't a threat the US and NATO would need their entire mobilized army to even stand a chance trying to invade the PRC. China has the largest air-force in the world last time I looked.

Granted China's navy kind of sucks and their air-force may not be state of the art.. but if they were good enough to dissuade the soviets from taking some turf back in the day they aren't exactly that weak either.

I wasn't really meaning we should attack China. I was more questioning why we attacked Libya. In the end, even if we win their country for them, the people of Libya will still hate Americans and want to kill us. Why help them? At this point it is loose loose. It'll be considered too little and too late. Watch how it unfolds.

Prac your logic is way wrong. If the USA was at war with China we would not have to pay them any of that money back. When was the last time 2 countrys warred each other and one was also making payments? No, you always seize all assets of the other country.

wow, 1989 China != 2011 Libyan for a number of reasons

1) The US didn't know a ton about what was going on in China until after it was over. China was more of a closed society than it is today and the internet was only a research and military tool.
2) In 1989, there was some other stuff going on that was more important to US interests -- namely, the march towards the end of the Cold War. With the US being tied up in China, it would have given the Soviets more options to deal with their own revolution & weakened the US internationally during a very critical time in the Cold War.
3) Tiananmen Square was a relatively small group of protestors who were inside a silo, the rest of the country didn't know what was up until well after it was over. Some likely still don't know. Libya, on the other hand, was already nearly "overthrown" by rebels
4) UN + Arab League resolutions give some level of legitimacy to attacks on Libya. I don't think Japan or South Korea -- key US allies in SE Asia -- would have liked to have a major war with the most populous country in the world, all done in their back yard. Japan+SK are the ones who likely would have suffered the most, if it wasn't just lobbing nukes back and forth between hemispheres.

also, China is owed roughly $1 trillion from the USA... that's not all that much. Japan is still a larger foreign creditor of US debt, I believe. The gap is narrowing, though. But basically just take all the production California generates for one year, send it to china... paid back! :p
+ if you go to war with China... just don't pay them back while the war is happening, beat them, then make them retire the debt as part of the terms of the armistice... :p

Evolution, just so you know, the oil produced by Libya almost entirely goes to Europe. The USA doesn't see any of it. It does help keep cost down when it is flowing though so Europe doesn't buy from our sources.


IF Obama really cared about the cost of fuel he would start drilling everywhere we could. That's the Liberal problem. They want to solve the energy issue and get off oil. I am for that. The difference is i am also for using every available resource we have until we get there. Tapping into our reserves to temporarily lower fuel costs is like beyond retarded at this point.
