Im not out numbered. You are because soon there will only be 50 players tops and then what? numbers dont matter because there are none. And btw you wish there were 4000 people playing. It dosn't matter how old this game is if nobody can find it how will anyone play? This game is 13 and up and for people who have low internet connection and are at work or school. I dont think you can play any of these fantasy graphical war games while your sitting in the library or on your break on the company computer can you? naaaaa So lets keep it for what it is and offer it to the people who would be interested in a free web browser community based online strategy and war game.

If you want to go out and recruit players, go for it.

If you think there is a big money opportunity here, then offer the owners the right price to buy it from them.

Campaigning here to the players to try and convince the owners to sell it to you for a low price isn't a good strategy.

I think a major step would be an honest to god app instead of just a mobile site. I found a calculator app and was kind of surprised no game app. This is basically clash of clans with no graphics.

And to tack on the advice to bam am, if you are such a marketing guru bring in the players. I am sure you can work out a compensation arrangement based on % growth.

How about we encourage others to stop the petty, drama causing nonsense that drives the players we have away from the game.

I remember when the game and community was enjoyable, now theres more fluffing and whining then an old, retired married couple on their way home from counseling.

If you spend more time on AT ranting about another alliance than further developing your own, what are you really trying to accomplish?

Interesting thing in Clash of Clans, not sure if it would work here.... their clan war system matches like numbers up automatically. So if my clan has 13 members and yours has 17 members, we'll be matched up for a 10 vs. 10 with the top 10 of each clan. It might be nice to somehow incorporate that here at some point, whether via game mechanics or player-agreements / FA arrangements.

There have been agreements like that in the past, with split off tags and everything. Seems like it would've made a comeback at some point with all the "OMG Gangbang LOL."

Those that enjoy this game have a lot to be thankful for. It's true it has descended from the original game in terms of war enjoyment. But its here.

ok, so I deleted bambam's post for what I took away as making clones of EE to recruit our players. that's my takeaway from the post discussing the "multiple games that look like EE".... I'm confused how that helps us.

honestly, you're yet to satisfy me enough that you're not a sheister to make me do anything but counter you ego-centric assertions. you've talked yourself up in the past then buggered off. you promised me $$ for boxcar customizations and then buggered off. I don't think you're here for the right reasons and -- at best -- you just want to horn in on our revenue stream, which right now we put back into the game.

I'm tired of your attitude and public demeanour as well. you don't bash the game/people you "want to work with" as priority #1. the people who are mods/staff now are the ones who worked behind the scenes with us for a long time. the ones who put their time and energy in to help make the the game better without being promised a partner-level, revenue sharing agreement for doing it. You clearly don't get the reasons behind why everyone helped/helps work on the game or why we keep it going.

as pang said. Neither myself nor any of the mods: forum, game, wiki or otherwise receive any monetary compensation. Heck, we don't even get extra bonus turns should we decide to play somewhere:P

and tbh, I'd much rather give any extra money we have to the existing staff for their past hard work before we start promising it to newcomers. It's only fair.

Pang... I took it to mean that he was creating a site to drive traffic here that he could measure and validate to you. And yes, he is apparently doing the same thing for the other E2025 spinoffs, either for the combined SEO value or to try and aggregate them together long term.

Anyway... I hope he can drive more traffic / players here.
