Then farm the crap out of them. Make them your farm. Make sure you got tanks and SDI. Grab like hell and then you will not need to explore. Keep them small and grow. Never let them retal.

Also, do not consider your self a failure. Think of it as sacrificing your country to help a more advanced one. And also now one these boards we all get a laugh. Everyone gets farmed when they first start out. Even vets can get farmed if they slack on the individual servers. This is a cut throat game and you need to be able to show some muscle and risk war to keep yourself safe.

If you're too small to fight back no matter what you do, try using some diplomacy, make some friends with others that are in the same boat as you, etc.
