I know I am lacking tech but I would like to know how I could stock as a commie/indy. Should I just be selling down every day and storing cash or how would I go about it?\

Stocking is stocking.
If you choose to stock as a CI then it is only a matter of selling your units and storing cash, when you reach ~2bil$ start buying bushels. With your # of indy complex you should be making ~55k jets/turrets per turn or ~3.5mil per day to put on sale.
